🎑 gather: mint, two pennies, and coffee beans.

Mercury - communication breakdown, technological and electrical failure, failed travel plans, lost items, careful and strategic planning, resurfaced personal relationships, deviated plans

Venus - lack of affection, separation, romantic tension, conflict, lack of creativity and artistic ability, infertility, resurfaced romantic relationships, self image issues

Mars - stasis, impulsivity, lack of passion, lack of motivation, personal defense, confrontation

Jupiter - introspection, personal development, reflection

Pocket witch altar…

So, I’ve got some experience with both crafts and pocket urban survival kits, so I decided to use all that knowledge for my craft and made a pocket witch altar using this thing (I don’t know the name in English, sorry), which I believe is discreet and practical for all those witches that use glasses.

What I have inside:

Paper

Lighter

Marker

This thing where I have: cinnamon, oregano, rose petals, and rosemary.

Half of a toilet paper cardboard tube, to make an improvised, biodegradable spell jar.

This thing that has bay leaves inside (you can write a wish over a bay leaf and then burn it for it to become true). Also, around it I have some white thread and a black ribbon.

This thing with some chalk inside.

Hey, moonies! Today I come with something very simple: the four steps for creating your spell.

What is this? Basically, the four main things you need to think about when making your own spell.

Of course, you can add more things, but these are the basics ;)

Before the steps though

You ever heard “be careful what you wish for”? Be mindful about that. You get EXACTLY what you want on a spell, so just be SURE.

Now to the four steps!

Purpose

What is your spell about? Make sure you can fit it in a clear and exact phrase. Get rid of ambiguous meanings and be direct and affirmative.

Like “the quality of my new Coffee Shop brings new and faithful clients every day” instead of “I wish my new Coffee Shop to be successful”.

Correspondence

What matches your purpose? What kind of elements, what day of the week, what sign of the zodiac, moon phase, herbs and flowers and so on.

Let’s say you’re in the mood for a love spell. The best day of the week to do it is on a Friday, ruled by Venus, the planet corresponding to love!

Materials

What do you need to bring it to reality? What kind of herbs, crystals, colours, fruits, flowers and etc. can you use that corresponds to your purpose?

Let’s take the love spell as an exemple again. You’re doing it on a Friday, with an apple, a spoon of honey, cinnamon, a bowl of water, a red ribbon and a pink candle. You have the tools, now you need to bring them together, wich brings us to…

Method

Which is the best way to combine all things? Are you making an amulet? Or maybe a spell or a ritual. You could use meditation, brew a potion… Your choice.

With the above, you could brew a sweet apple potion or divise your own ritual for love and confidence. Or you can eat the apple just because, light the candle and ask the moon for loving vibes. It’s really up to you!

Can’t focus or clear their minds

Can’t sit in a “typically witchy” position (kneeling, criss cross)

Can’t walk with nature

Can’t tell if they’re connecting with spirits or hallucinating

Don’t have the energy and motivation to do anything “witchy”

Forget things

Can’t get themselves to do “witchy” things no matter how much they want to

Can’t have anything “witchy” where they live (hospital, disabled appartments, college, communial living, assisted living)

Feel like their diety(ies) abandoned them because they can’t/don’t pray, commune, do rituals, or whatever else to connect to them like they feel like they should (They didnt abandon you)

Can’t be around elements like fire or objects like an athame because of current or past self harm

Can’t figure out what they truly believe because of their delusions

Have any form of sensory issue that prevents them from doing anything “witchy”

Have severe or even mild allergies to many or even some herbs, oils, plants, etc.

Are afraid of meditating or preforming a ritual because they dissociate and don’t feel safe dissociating around candles, water, in the middle of the woods, etc.

🌿Herb sachets hung above your bed (request herb sachet recipes from me if you’re interested).

🌿Hang Dry herbs upside down in your bedroom (Lavender helps for anxiety and depression… it is very calming or Mugwort for dreams. Mugwort is very invasive, you can find it growing everywhere).

🌿Herbs placed inside your pillow sheet (I place Mugwort leaves inside to active lucid dreams).

🌿Setup an Altar near your bed: add elements of earth, fire, water and air. You can also use your windowsill as an altar.

🌿Place Black Tourmaline under your bed: shields you energetically by taking the electromagnetic frequencies, and instead of absorbing them, tourmaline changes, redirects, cleanses, and purifies the energy. This is how it handles negativity, even energies of psychic attack too!

🌿Place Sigil writings or powders for protection and restful beauty sleep under your mattress.

🌿Keep a dream journal under your pillow! Dreams can help us get a glimpse into our subconscious and the more dreams you write the easier it becomes for you to remember them.

🌿Unless you are allergic, sleep with the window halfway open or cracked to let good energy move around and circulate in your room and keep skin hydrated during the night.

🌿Drink herbal tea before bed each night. (Request free herbal tea recipes from me if interested) Mugwort tea is great to have in the evening before bed to reach high levels of lucid dreaming

It’s the same technique as this:

Find your niche. Find that one thing that you feel connected to more than anything else. It can be generic like crystals or herbs, or something very specific like different types of water.

What do I mean? Why is this important? Well, here’s my experience:

I am very attuned to flowers. When I cast my spells with flowers, or visualize flower things when doing energy work, my spells are a million times stronger. I can pick out a flower for a spell without even looking up its meaning and 99% of the time it’s actually what is widely used for that intent I’m going for. Granted, personal associations are valid too, just thought that was cool!

Crystals are also something I am very attuned to. When I read someone’s energy, I get the crystal they need at the moment. I can build complicated crystal grids without needing to think much on them.

My point is, when you find your niche, you tend to find the spells using items within that niche are stronger. Now, how do you find it?

First, go super general. Find what element you are attuned to best. Ask yourself, “Where am I most comfortable at?” Among answers could be: caves, mountains, forests, nighttime, daytime, city, beaches, lakeside, in the water, near fire, a season, windy days, etc. Meditate on it. Really think on it. With that, you can start narrowing things down to an element. And I don’t mean just the main four, I mean darkness, light, technology, etc. as well.

Next, narrow it down further to things within that element. For example, if you feel comfortable at a lakeside place, are you attuned to fresh water? What animals live there? What plants grow there? Do you feel more attuned to night or day? What season do you feel more attuned to? If it’s winter, maybe ice applies?

Don’t worry about taking time to do this. I didn’t figure this out until about four years into my craft. Some people figure it out fast. Some longer. Everyone is different!

🌿Spring Glamour Shower Spell🌻

A perfect spring glamour spell for my fellow i-don’t-have-a-bathtub witches.

 Recommended to cast during: Waxing Moon - Full Moon 

 Needed: 

🌸 Fresh or dried flowers. (PLEASE, for safety reasons, do not use poisonous flowers.)

Bonus: Pick flowers that are significant to you in a positive way. Magickal correspondence wouldn’t matter for this spell since this is something for yourself. 

🌼 Clear shower gel that has a pleasant scent for you (The flowers look hella beautiful in it)

🌸 Music that makes you feel sexy and beautiful. 

 To Cast….

🌸 Carefully place the petals inside your shower gel bottle and chant: 

 Beautiful spring blooms I see, 

 Beautiful flower I shall be. 

 🌼Play your beautifying music and prepare to take a shower. 

 🌸Clean whatever it is you need to clean and leave the shower gel last. 

 🌼 When you’re done cleaning yourself, apply the gel and be immersed.
