Is it wrong for a girl to not wear a top in public?
Is it wrong for a girl to go around the street without a top (and possibly a bra)? I think girls should be able to do it as breasts are a natural thing that they develop, if a guy can do it then so should a woman. It's not like women would be going around with their lady parts out because that would be an entirely different topic and it would be the same if a guy did it, women are free to do as they please with their body parts even if it's not liked by other members of public. Not all girls enjoy seeing men go around with out a top on. Some people may use the excuse "we don't want our children seeing it". Seeing what? A natural part of the body that all females will develop? They have probably seen it all before and if not they are bound to see it at some point in the future! Anyway, my point is that if a girl would like to go around in public in the summer with no top or bra on then they should be allowed to do it. As I have said, if a guy can do it then so should a girl. Opinions?
Even though I find my female friends to be the most incredible, beautiful, and talented women in the world, pretty much every woman and girl I know feels the same way about her body as the women in the above video. It’s so sad and something we all struggle and work on. Growing up we were shown such conflicting messages with unrealistic expectations for what we should look like that not only did it fuck me up and make me feel as though I shouldn’t and wasn’t allowed to do things I wanted to do because of the way I looked (i.e. be the singer of a band) that it still manages to effect me to this day, but I do it all anyways cuz… fuck it. One of my many goals in life is to teach young women to love themselves in a better way then I was taught to love myself and to show them they can be/do/fuck whatever they want not despite the way they look but because they are the best version of themselves, which is all we can aspire to be, right?
