Grimm, King of Nightmares: I have a question. In this world, is industrialism and modernism considered the same thing as nature? or are they foils? What exactly does this hyper-mechanization have in relation to nature? or do they even exist in the same places anymore?
QazNotQuaz: did y'all see the post introducing the feywild?
QazNotQuaz: *pins [MOTHER NATURE GETS HER WAY]*
QazNotQuaz: anyways on the material planes, the whole plane is urbanized but there are plants and trees since like. they're essential for existence.
AWOLBacon: You could just have algae filled lakes
AWOLBacon: Algae in the ocean produces 88% of oxygen I think
Twinwrath: so it has parks the size of forests and such?
QazNotQuaz: other things are needed for magical components
QazNotQuaz: and i don't think there would be enough free space for a proper Forest tbh
Twinwrath: you could have grass grown along freeways, rooftops for offices, and such in small, minute but aesthetically pleasing levels
QazNotQuaz: yes rooftop gardens everywhere
Grimm: not to mention grass is essential for effective food production
QazNotQuaz: food is largely handled magically
QazNotQuaz: not entirely, but largely. some people want Premium Real Food™
Twinwrath: is this just enough for crops to grow without as ideal circumstances or otherwise?
QazNotQuaz: if someone really wants space for crops, they can use demiplanes, or biospheres in the plane of water
Grimm: so the planes will commonly trade and interact with one another?
QazNotQuaz: yes, there's portals all over the place. travel is just as thoroughly networked through portals as information is through the internet
