i hate the autism fakers as much as the next autist but i already see people using them as an excuse to bully autistic women and deny them accommodation. and it's always women. sadly the backlash to the annoying #neurodivergent content creators was always gonna consist of people just going back to acting like autistic women don't exist instead of talking about how much harm has been done to autistic women in a variety of ways by the fakers.

high functioning autistic guys will still be celebrated and empathized with for being wholesome chungus benign geniuses who just love trains meanwhile with high functioning autistic women it's gonna be "are you capable of speaking? then shut the fuck up attention whore, you're not disabled."

meanwhile the fakers will just quietly stop mentioning it when it gets too uncool and go on with their lives totally unscathed
