itβs not weird to like said authorβs work so much that you want to go look for other fics from them.
itβs not weird to go through the authors profile and look for other fics from the ships you like (or maybe some that youβll give a chance because you liked the author) and maybe bookmark them for later.
itβs not weird to read these other fics and like them too and comment on them because you actually like them and you want to let the author know.
itβs not weird to read fanfiction from 5, or 8, or 10 years ago and actually enjoy and engage with it because itβs perfectly normal to relate to something thatβs less than a decade old!

Ok niche post- earlier this year I watched a lot of analysis of The Caretaker's work in music and sound collage, namely regarding the Everywhere at the End of Time project.
Subsequently I got really into listening to The Beatles again, and went through all their albums.
And it made me realize, none of the analysis of The Caretaker's work mention one of the precursors in the sound collage domain, Lennon/McCartney (i'm mainly referring to Revolution 9, by Lennon and Ono, but McCartney also had been doing sound collage since 1966).
Revolution 9 in some parts feels very much like Stage 3 or 4 of EATEOT, and listening to it, really taking the time to after having listened to the Caretaker, it astounds me that none of the deeper video essay that dived in the development of the genre never brought it up, if only to talk about the history of this type of experimental music. And also it would have highlighted Yoko Ono's contribution to much of the Avant-Garde scene and movement.
Especially considering that Revolution 9, being on the White Album, is the most largely distributed experimental music track worldwide, I feel that it's worth the mention.
Just a thought. Does anyone know if Leyland Kirby ever mentioned it too? I'd love to know.

theo van gogh was the one who suggested that his older brother vincent start seriously painting. as soon as theo was gainfully employed he gave vincent around 15% of his own yearly salary for art supplies, lodging, and food. about 2/3rds of vincent's surviving letters were to theo (including vincent's earliest and last letters), all of which were found stored in theo's desk. theo's child, vincent willem, was born on january 31st, 1890, and vincent was so delighted by his nephew that he painted almond blossoms for him. vincent shot himself half a year later on july 29th, 1890. theo's distress at his brother's death worsened his syphilis symptoms and he died half a year after his brother on january 25th, 1891 (four days before vincent willem's first birthday). theo was reburied next to vincent in auvers-sur-oise at the request of theo's wife johanna.

I'm convinced that "We Two" is about John Lennon. it's the whole vibe, i just know, man.
I wanna add that its the one song that sounds like it has a sound collage similar to the one in the locked groves at the end of Sgt. Pepper's that would loop at the end on a physical copy, and that feels like a Lennon style choice. Can't wait to see if it does!
