                    Ah, how rude. The shark had only just noticed the octopus moments before he suddenly bolted off, leaving his friend in the dust. So surprising was the sudden reaction that it left the shark standing there for a few moments trying to process what had just occurred. 

Fukami looked back hesitantly. Of course he was following. Why would he have expected otherwise. He continued down the hall, keeping his running pace. The corridors seemed like a maze in his slight panic. He surely wasn’t going to get far before the shark would have caught him. The octopus stopped, starting to question his sense of direction as footsteps only got closer.
