Alright it's a new year so it's time to update my pinned

- Hi, I'm Tala. I'm a transneutral butch lesbian and my pronouns are they/them. I'm in my thirties and I'm poly with established partners. There's some other labels that apply to me (demisexual, agender, intersex) but they come up less often. HRT anniversary is 9/25 (:

- "Okay but are you amab/afab or tma/tme?" You do not need to know the status of my genitals or which hormone is predominant in my body, past or present, no matter how progressively you ask. The only ways this would matter are if you are imminently about to have sex with me or you intend to treat me differently based on my answer.

- I'm plural but I'm the one that runs this blog, so you'll probably never meet my headmates or even really know about them unless you talk to me frequently.

- I'm a pacifist(mostly) that believes every living person deserves food, water, shelter, and healthcare. *Every* living person. Even the ones I hate. Even the ones you hate.

- This blog contains a lot of random shit. The only thing it does NOT contain is requests for money. I'm so tired of being asked for my money, and I want my blog to be a place that doesn't want yours. My only established tag is "personal" for original posts, but feel free to ask me to tag something.

- I don't believe in DNIs. I do believe in the block button. Interact if you want, but if I notice you and something pisses me off, you're getting blocked. However, if *you* believe in DNIs, you probably don't want to follow me. I guarantee you that I most likely fit into your DNI in some way. Some examples:

- Don't try to start discourse with me. I'm too old to care. I have bigger problems than your callout post about how that trans woman said something ~problematique~. I have bigger problems than whatever exclusionary bullshit you're on about; I need more people helping me keep trans people/queer people in general fed and housed. I have bigger problems than someone writing Blorbo Bleebus kissing his brother Plorpo Bleebus on AO3. I have bigger problems than what someone is getting up to when "spicing up" sex with their partner that has nothing to do with me. You're pathetic and I'm just going to block you.

I was on injections before my nesting partner was, and when they decided to switch to injections, they asked for my help in learning how to do it. I taught them my exact ritual, showed them how to find the right spot, but made them do the injection itself- that's really the only way to get yourself to understand what it will feel like. I gave them all my tips about finding a spot that wouldn't hurt, and then gave them the tricks I'd learned to make the needle itself hurt less. They asked me to count them down, so I did with the way I count myself down inside my head: "🎵3, 2, 1, let's jam🎵"

Several months later(might be a year at this point), I no longer walk them through their shot, but we do them simultaneously. I had just finished injecting myself and was throwing the needle in the sharps bin when I heard them sing quietly "🎵3, 2, 1, let's jam🎵" and it did make me smile.

okay, we managed to get through the “you can be gay and not have sex” part, and im feeling charitable and i wanna talk about the “do crime” part

so many responses of “its nice that you’re privileged enough to be able to steal from Target willy nilly!” and that’s not at all what this is about. like, yeah, shoplifting and loitering and graffiti and breaking the rules is, obviously, part of “do crime”. but they’re not parts you have to do.

would you help someone get an abortion where it was illegal?

would you help a trans friend get healthcare that had been criminalized?

would you shelter someone fleeing persecution, even if the law said not to?

would you help a gay couple stay together when the state decided their relationship was unlawful?

instead, would you report someone else for breaking the law? will you snitch on your hungry neighbors for stealing food? on your homeless neighbors for sleeping where they’re able?

would you break laws to protect someone you love? a community you love? yourself?

I wanna talk about my 2 ongoing Stardew Valley games (Sprout and Twig, with my partner; and Kudzu, my solo file) but like. people only care about stardew if you can show them your mega optimized perfect farm. im in year 3 on both because one is a duplicate from the other from about a season ago, and they're already on wildly different farm designs despite the shared map and origins. My solo file is behind the co-op file but I've taken optimizations I've made on the solo file over the course of very few in-game days and applied them to the co-op file. The farms are STILL wildly different and they are also for fucking sure not optimized. But I love them so much and I've had a lot of fun tweaking each design to be an efficient loop either for myself or for both my partner and I. I think my solo file might actually have the better optimization, but I still never get time to go to the skull caverns or the volcano
