Murano 1920
Season 4, episode "Nagging Suspicion" part 3.
Final gifset for this episode, I promise. Includes my favorite gif (obviously the large one). He's SO FUCKING ROYDORABLE.
the other guys are okay, too.
Season 4, Episode "Nagging Suspicion" part 2
There will be three parts, apparently. I told you, I really like this episode. And Roy is adorable. And I love the station's attention being on him.
And I decided that Roydorable is a word now.
Kevin Tighe and Randy Mantooth 1970s Palm Springs, at the graduation of the first female paramedic in the US and the first private paramedic group
This is courtesy of the group "Paramedics on Facebook" from Keren Heavlin who shared these photos. Her commentary on this event is included in the photos (screenshot from the Facebook page). I love these photos so much! So much credit to Randy and Kevin who throughout their lives spent/are spending time with real paramedics still (please see "Into the Unknown" documentary they co-produced when it's released later this year!); and how they have always advocated for real-life firefighters, EMS, and paramedics. Without "Emergency" and everyone involved with it, not just them, emergency services in real life would have never taken off as astronomically fast as it did. When I was a little kid we dialed "0" for the operator to get the police or fire station or ambulance. Dialing "911" was not fully in place until well into the 90s, although it very much was in many places in the later 70s and 80s (depended on where you lived). If you didn't live in those times, you can't fully appreciate what this show, and especially these two beautiful actors, did to end up literally saving lives.

Season 4, episode "Nagging Suspicion" part 1
This is part one of the gifs because this is one of my favorite episodes, so there's like... a lot.
This is THE MOST ADORABLE ROY EPISODE EVER.
he's just a cute lil bashful clueless buddy with a special interest that everybody thinks he should be using for personal gain and he's just like, but it's only for funzies.
and some other stuff happens with lions and dancers and a sniper... but we're focusing on the roydorableness here.

Season 4, episode "Gossip"
The one where it's okay to repeatedly call a side character a "gossipy c__t" multiple times while watching. She don't even get a gif because I didn't want to look at her face more than I had to..
Also, this one was directed by Kevin Tighe, and he made the directing and acting choice to look adorable.
Just a few of my favorite gagesoto gifs.

WHAT is going on with Roy’s hair in “The Inspection” (s5 ep5)?
Cup toss 🥛
"We know one another pretty well, don't we?"
"Not well enough to leave each other alone."
Bro absolutely COOKED with this.
If you ever hear the phrase "fascism is aesthetics as politics," that's what this post is talking about.
It's not about being tough on crime, because the absolute toughest most brutal measure you could take against "crime" as a social problem is to alleviate poverty, and increase access to education, healthcare and social mobility.
It's about performing "tough on crime" as an aesthetic by enacting violence against a prop, i.e. minorities and the impoverished, who are fetishized and objectified to represent "crime." They are brutalized as punishment for crime, but never with the purpose of alleviating the problem of crime.
This is why a lot of conservatives and other right wingers can get straight up angry when you suggest things like reform or social measures to reduce crime. They don't want crime to be reduced, they want an eternal war against "crime" because it provides an arena for the righteous to demonstrate virtue by brutalizing their enemies.
Season 4, episode "I'll Fix It"
Forget about the actual plot of this episode because so many of the gifs work better without the context LOL.

I'm gonna tell you guys something you'll never be able to unsee. The label on the radio in the squad says "RESUE UNIT NO. 51" instead of RESCUE.
bonus, out of context, slow motion gif. for no reason at all.
