it truly makes me so sad to see teenagers identifying as various asexual micro identities. it’s so unhealthy and the Online Queers should feel ashamed of what they’ve done to these kids

for any teenagers reading this: I understand the appeal of finding a word that describes the way you feel, and I’m not judging you for doing that, but sex is extremely complicated and it’s something that EVERYONE feels differently about. Some people like to have a lot of sex. Some people don’t like having sex at all! Most people fall somewhere in between. It’s all okay and it’s all normal. There is NOTHING DEVIANT about how much or how little interest you have in sex. There is nothing wrong with you. You are a teenager and you are growing and changing and nobody should be making you feel like you need to latch on to a static label to describe your sex drive or your emotional connection to sex. Your sexual interests and desires are NOBODY’S BUSINESS but your own, and maybe people you’re engaging in sexual activity with. 

btw i encourage everyone especially non muslim lgbt ppl to reblog this. if you see islamophobia within the community, you should help us instead of telling us our religion is ‘horrible’

please do not force an lgbt label onto anne frank. she died before she had the chance to explore her sexuality and if you need to think of her as lgbt to have empathy for her you need to reconsider how you think of holocaust victims. please do not vilify her father, a man who lost his entire family in the holocaust, for censoring the parts in anne’s diary where she expresses attraction for women. it was 1947. jewish girls were already seen as hypersexual. he was protecting her legacy as best he could, and you have no right to call him a villain for wanting what was period-typical best for his late daughter.

we should uhhhh normalize non binary people or anyone under the nb umbrella choosing to use the trans flag to represent them instead of the non binary one or any other flag. the trans flag is for all of us, we are the white stripe and tbh ive gotten weird looks from people for calling myself trans and using the flag instead of the nb one. why! its ours too god dammit! we are still trans and we can use whatever god damn flag we feel like using

telling butch lesbians to “be ugly” when rejecting feminine beauty standards is nice but butchness is something that lesbians find beautiful and desirable so maybe instead of telling butches to accept that they are ugly in a het world tell them that they dont have to live in a world where they’re considered ugly. you dont have to accept being ugly bc you arent ugly to us.

These stories help so much. Not just because of the trans people find love just like everyone else, which is an important message on its own, but because there are some stories of other people who didn’t know since they were kids and this is so fucking reassuring!!!
