Thanks to InCinemas.sg and Sony Pictures, I had a chance to be a part of the Ghostbusters Red Carpet event which happened on 12th June at Marina Bay Sands! Not only did I get a chance to be real close to the red carpet as Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig made their way, but I also had the opportunity to be a part of a record breaking attempt which will go into the Guinness Book of World Records! Checked out the 2016 edition of the NTU ADM Gradshow which had it's opening on 6th May! Works from all the various majors (Animation, Film, Photography, Interactive Media and Product Design) were up on display. There was also an NTU ADM Alumni Show that was held together with the event as well, which featured notable works from the pioneer batches from ADM. The photobooth setup by Movish proved to be really popular as people were lining up to take special "Moving Picture" photographs (like GIFs). Official website: www.admgradshow.com

Unwrapping our haul of free comic books from Free Comic Book Day! Spent about the whole day checking out Kinokuniya and some other shops before finally ending up at GnB Comics which still had some free issues left over to collect. A friend of mine (thanks Tao Huey!) had some extras from collecting them earlier in the morning which he was nice enough to pass them over to me :)

So I started playing WWE Immortals over the Wrestlemania weekend last week and I have since not been able to put it down! This game involves lots of grinding to level up your superstars and getting decent gear to do battle. Really dig the Mortal Kombat mashup with the WWE Universe. This video is a recording test done using the record function via the Google Play Games app. This gameplay shows one of the new challenges that has started where players will be rewarded with a Bronze Pack, 15,000 Immortal Credits, a Silver Pack and a Mad Scientist Bray Wyatt Gold card upon completion. This was from a AsiaVR Association meetup on 15th March at NUS Enterprise Blk 71. Developers and VR enthusiasts dropped by to share their projects, ideas and best practices for Virtual Reality development. Attendees had the chance to try out the Samsung Gear VR to experience interior architectural 3D renderings done by the team at WoobaVR. Others also tried out the Oculus Rift DK2 paired with Razer Hydra controllers to use eye tracking tools developed by Newrocare. The HTC Vive was also up for anyone to try and have fun, with people trying out Ninja Trainer, Space Pirate Trainer and Tiltbrush. It was super fun seeing all their reactions to something so new! XD

Checked out the Samsung S7 Delights showcase at VivoCity which ran from 3rd March to 6th March. On display were the Galaxy S7 4G+ and S7 edge 4G+, along with its ecosystem including the Gear VR, Gear 360 and Gear S2. Pretty cool! :)
