I think that's master ava speaking & in the cloak at the beginning of the trailer. the voice sounds similar to ava in the jp back cover + it would explain why she wasn't the epilogue when the other foretellers returned. plus xigbar did say that ava had her own mission that she carried out (the line is pretty similar in jp, also calling it her mission from what I've found). tbh this makes me think it's more a self-assigned mission, compared to the "role" the MoM gave her.

this is branching into speculation & theory, but I think she'll be moving against MoM going forward. I think whatever she learnt from luxu fully convinced her to turn against MoM (tho she seemed to be already loosing faith in him, with how she gave master's defender & the book of prophecies to brain instead of ephemer as MoM instructed).

further speculating, I think her and luxu have some sort of deal. she works to counteract MoM's plan or smth, while he watches out for her dandelions: he made a deal with brain, he recruited lauriam (thus keeping an eye on him) and possibly elrena too, and he did rescue subject x (assuming she's skuld).

my impression of luxu in back cover was that he had reservations about MoM's plan tho did played out this role. perhaps he ultimately believes in the MoM, or perhaps he knows he's too close to no name to really move against MoM without being seen so he makes a deal with ava. who's to say.

also, this tweet seems to imply that she's seated on a building opposition to MoM (overlooking young xehanort, but that's another thought). seems pretty clear the implication is she's against MoM.

there being no light or darkness in this world until they arrived is interesting. i think we knew something abt that already, but it's good to hear it

i wanna knoooo who strelitzia is meeting with. part of me thinks it's ava (b/c that's her dandelion) but who knows. maybe its yx, I'd like that. or maybe yozora, tho I kinda doubt.

but fr my first thought is that's sigurd. tho the outfit is different, it has a similar vibe to the one he's been seen in.

THAT BEING SAID, there's something about his hair / eye colouring that make me think of brain. it's hard to fully see his eyes, but they do sorta look grey, and his hair is dark with warm undertones like brain but with more of a wave, like eraqus. part of me wonders if he is also related to brain. working with the idea that he is sigurd, he was also supposed to be in missing link, and that game was supposed to explore bloodlines.

I'm kinda just hoping it isn't brain.

tho an INSANE idea would be if this guy was someway connected to the DATA copy of brain. how? I have no clue. and I'm not the most well versed with the two brains theories.

the problem is his features don't exactly look like younger eraqus or the one 3d model of brain we got in ml. tho he does look older than them. and this whole train of thought is relying on a lot of assumptions.

I didn't catch it at first, it was only after that I saw ppl pointing out that this is vali from dark road. I hope that means the other students are there (tho I wonder what that means for bragi).

his keyblade looks cool tho, it's pretty exciting to see that he's still got one. but it's not the same one he used in the mobile game. hope this means that if we see more of the dr students they still have their keyblades too. and strelitzia.

I really had no idea what to make of this, but I've seen people point out that the feathers are reminiscent to ones used in ml to control people. which is,,,, a HELLA interesting thought. so who might be able to use them who was in both scala back then and quadratum now hmmmm

there's not much for me to say on the gameplay other than it looks super fun and I can't wait. but also I've seen it mention that sora seems to be using the moves of his prior enemies.
