Benjamin Franklin said that the harder he worked, the luckier he got. Also, I was watching the Grammys one year and this country music singer won Best New Artist. And he got up there, a guy clearly in his 40s, and said "Well it's great to be best new artist, although I have been doing this for 25 years." Everybody wants a quick fix, and an overnight success, a way to get somewhere fast. And some people do win the lottery I guess. But the rest of us just have to work. We just have to do the same thing over and over, innovate slightly, fail a lot, reinvent ourselves from time to time, cry, repeat. And then, maybe, just maybe, we might get lucky. (at India)
