Hey so this might be a controversial opinion but I think the vampire chasing them looks fake as fuck.

"alex kralie being an asshole as usual / is an asshole in every universe" well i just feel really bad for him. sorry. my apologist ways are never changing

thinking about original jay compared to rosswood jay and I just. he was so lonely and directionless in the original series. in rosswood he's clearly stayed close with alex, he's still doing film, he's got a good head on his shoulders. and he's so fundamentally uncurious and practical about the weird stuff going on because he actually has a life to get back to this time. god. he makes me ill.

Seeing Jay whos generally known as the character who doesnt listen to logic or reason be the first one to say "ok we need to leave" in the new marble hornets series makes me physically ill. The other version of him has nothing to lose. He has no friends, no family, the only one who cared when he died was Tim. But this Jay grew up and has a life and friends and maybe a partner to get home to. He doesnt care about the mystery. He cares about getting home safe at the end of the day and I think thats beautiful.
