“Once or twice. I think.” Poppy grins, chuckling at Andi’s reaction. “It wasn’t, huh? Whose was it then?”

“I dunno, Andi. Did you get in trouble for lying?” Poppy’s shit-eating grin says she definitely knows the answer.

“Honestly, this time I didn’t start it. The other kid came at me. He just wasn’t expecting me to be able to so thoroughly kick his ass.”

“You don’t get in trouble for lying. You get in trouble for lying badly. And getting caught.”

“Really?! Okay, what size does it have to be? Would it work like that model or just look like it?” It probably said a lot that one thing to get Poppy acting like an excited teenager was a fancy weapon, but she didn’t care.

“Don’t look for any redeeming qualities. I don’t have any.” @cfuriahfries

“Whatever it is, I didn’t start it.” Poppy saw the look on Lars’s face and decided to preemptively declare her innocence. @mobprince

“So... Can you actually get me a freeze ray? Because if you can, that’d be sick.” @axelsnart

Poppy groaned and flopped across her sister. “The only good thing about that is that they won’t suspect me.” She pulls an innocent expression. “I could never do something bad.” She makes it through the sentence before she breaks character, laughing. “Oh, definitely. Idiots, all of them.”

“I mean, I could work out how to dull your senses but that would probably be permanent. And Lars probably wouldn’t like that.” Poppy gives him a sly grin; difficult to tell if she’s joking or not. “I hate waiting. If something’s gonna happen, I wanna do it.”
