Klara was still apprehensive about large events. It put her on edge, making her feel like she ought to have a mission, she ought to disappear. But when the Easter events were explained to her, especially the chocolate egg hunt, she’d decided to come. She could be normal. Right?

She stuck close to Lars, eyes wide with excitement. “So, I can keep the chocolate I find?”

Klara decided to stay at the dance, even after talking with Lorna. She knew that most of the people her age were here, and that it was a normal thing to do. Even if she didn’t know how to do it. People seemed to be... moving to the music, and talking loudly, and drinking something. Fun. Or so she was told. It was all a bit overwhelming to try on her own.
