ancient peoples loooved a flood narrative it was kinda like their beatles

i don’t have a plug for the drain in my bathtub. i stuff it with a washcloth and then fill the tub. it only kind of works, the water still slowly drains. i always lay there with the lights off until the water has fully emptied out of the tub. i then get out and dry myself off. it isn’t ideal, but it feels like a sort of prayer to me.
