Another Pokemon-themed digital sketch commission, this time for "Jac"! I was requested to reinterpret a Porygon character within the constraints of my personal Pokemon reinterpretation project - in the spirit of the old "Pokemon crossbreed" series that included sub/species info blurbs for background context. Additional notes that were included with the final image:
Its physical form has been designed to mirror that of digital Porygon, specifically model 19.99.0.430. While it remains largely the same visually when at-rest, Witty's muti-purpose capsule body is designed to benefit from its original programming. Through the implementation of VeroVisc Poly Carbons, a non-Newtonian synthetic fluid material, it may change shape in accordance to chosen action properties as standard in the original species' programming (ex: shape-shifting to execute a requested attack or other action). Custom upgrades and patches to its base software, as well as access to increased processing power, has permitted a germination of greater intelligence and the presence of partial "free will" versus standard Porygon. Witty has been observed to learn from previous mistakes it itself has made, as well as the mistakes made by others through observation. This increased intelligence has resulted in great adaptability in strategisation and puzzle-solving. With the combination of physical and intellectual adaptability, Witty's trainer has employed the Pokemon's physical platform to test programming to permit - or imitate - flight via Poly Carbon reconfiguration on a molecular level. Currently, Witty's flight capabilities are largely limited to soaring with limited "powered" flight via the use of magnesis. Vacuum suitability of the capsule body is also being tested, with confirmed success in controlled environs. As a Pokemon companion, Witty is affectionate and of Gentle nature - and is reportedly rather shy and prone to bashfulness.
YESSSSS!! MY BOY!!!!
I still love this so so much
