I am honestly losing my mind at how Drift absolutely has no redemption arc in canon it’s so funny He realizes the Decepticons have lost their way and promptly fucks off for 10,000 years and does absolutely nothing about it until he decides “I’m going to go mess with Turmoil”, so he does that and meets the Wreckers and becomes an Autobot and then the war ends pretty much immediately after And then he’s just there like “yes hello, I am gay, I am sexy, I am new in town, I activate almonds for a living and my budget is 10 billion dollars, don’t ask me how I made my money” and everyone just goes “that seems legit” and he buys a giant spaceship and fucks off again like WHAT IS THAT 

TFP Megatron be like "Why is no one loyal to me?" then proceeds to punch the nearest Decepticon for no reason, chuck bots with ground based vehicle modes off the nemesis unprovoked, disappears for three years to get spooky space cocaine, gets mad at his team for doing their job and being productive without him, and is willing to let his own team die at the drop of a hat despite his big talk of loyalty and how few cybertronians are left "Why does everything awful happen to me?"
