I let the

fog

consume

my being

as I stare

down

at my

bare legs

thoughts

of

tracing

every

vein

in thanks.

The warm embrace

of endless fabric

and complete

isolation.

How crazy it is to think that life’s biggest question has been answered - no more fear, worrying, pondering. You, perfectly imperfect, are a living and breathing human. You are here . With you, I am imperfectly perfect. With you, I am whole.

I’m screaming and no one can hear me.

You asked me if a ring would cure me of my insecurity, if a physical promise of forever would remove the anxiety and woes from my mind. I silently shook my head no, still dreaming of the days where a promise of forever meant more than easing the monsters that reside in my head.

I apologize for not cultivating the garden of my words,for letting weeds overtake the suttle nuances in thoughts and prose that were forming behind the dafodils.

I’m buried in self help books and a desperate need to re-discover my sense of worth.

it has become

terrifying

to contemplate

sleeping alone.

the stars

in your

eyes

burn

constellations

into my soul.

Am I just numb or have I fallen out of love with you?

We cannot see air,

yet air exists.

Air is what

breathes

fire

into our lungs.

I am in a relationship again. It feels healthy and wonderful. I even find myself thinking this is it. Yet, you still creep into my brain. The pain and the sorrow and the heartbreak still color my thoughts. Why do I crave obsession over stability?
