POV: HOW SKZ WOULD REACT TO YOU CRYING DURING INTIMICY đٞâ・ËÂ
--------------âŚÂ PAIRING. SKZ x !f! reader Â
âŚÂ GENRE. One shot | drabbleÂ
âŚÂ A/N. I canât hold back the demons for this one guys i lied i rlly wanna write. ts is like nnn for me so this is the MOST i could write without getting too freaky! Please consider showing some support to my posts, I'd appreciate a like. It goes a long way for me đÂ
BANGCHAN: Your mouth is still parted, your fingers still curled in his shirt, and then your lashes flutter wrong. Your breathing stutters. A tear slips sideways into your hairline before you even realize itâs there.Â
Chan goes pale.Â
He pulls back so fast he nearly tangles himself in the sheets. âBaby-- waitâ hey, hey, heyââ His hands hover around your face like heâs defusing something fragile. âAre you okay? Did I hurt you? I didnât hurt you, right? Tell me I didnât hurt you.âÂ
His voice is soft but frantic, breath warm against your cheeks as he cups your face. His thumbs swipe under your eyes immediately, clumsy and urgent, catching tears as they fall like he can physically prevent them from existing.Â
You try to shake your head, embarrassed, but that only makes him lean closer.Â
âOkay, okay. Itâs okay. Weâre stopping. We stopped. Iâm not touching you anymoreâ unless you want me toâ do you want me to? No, wait. Water. Do you need water? I can get water. Or tissues. Or both. OrââÂ
âChan,â you whisper, half laughing through it.Â
He freezes. Searches your face. His brows knit so tight they almost meet.Â
âTalk to me,â he says, softer now. âPlease.âÂ
Your chest aches at how serious he looks. Like this matters more than anything. Like you crying in this moment has genuinely shaken him. Well, that's because it has. Work stress barely equates to a quarter of the stress heâs feeling at this moment in time.Â
Immediately he exhales and his shoulders drop by 5 inches, but his hands donât. They slide down to cradle your jaw properly this time, steady and warm.Â
âOkay,â he breathes. âOkay. Thatâs okay. Sometimes feelings just overflow. Donât worry about it baby. I know these things can be overwhelming. I understand.âÂ
He presses his forehead to yours, eyes closing briefly, grounding himself against you. You can feel his pulse through his skin. Itâs still racing.Â
âI need you to know something,â he murmurs, voice low and trembling in that earnest way he gets when heâs trying very hard to say the right thing. âNothing you do in this space is wrong. You donât have to be composed. You donât have to be sexy. You donât have to hold it together.âÂ
Another tear slips free. He catches it immediately.Â
âYou can fall apart on me,â he whispers.Â
The way he says it makes your stomach flip.Â
He kisses the corner of your eye. Then your temple. Then your cheek. Soft, reverent, like heâs apologizing to your skin for ever making it feel overwhelmed.Â
âDid I move too fast?â he asks again, quieter. âTell me if I did. I can go slower. I can stop completely. I justâ I need you okay.âÂ
You reach for him then, hooking your fingers in his shirt again, pulling him closer.Â
âIâm okay,â you promise.Â
He studies you for another long second, scanning for cracks. Then he nods decisively.Â
âGood. Good. Because Iââ His voice falters and he laughs at himself, a little breathless. âYou scared me.âÂ
He rocks you slightly without realizing heâs doing it.Â
âYouâre safe,â he murmurs into your hair. âIâve got you. Iâve got you.âÂ
He keeps whispering little check-ins every few minutes. âStill okay?â âBreathing good?â âTell me if you need a break.âÂ
It should feel excessive.Â
Instead, it feels like being held by someone who would dismantle himself before letting you feel alone. Thatâs the truth anyways.Â
LEEKNOW: He has the instincts of a cat and an owl combined. One second your toes are clenched, the next your eyes are shut, tears flowing. Â
âWhy??â He blurts, voice sharp, eyes wide.Â
You blink at him, startled, trying to shake your head, and he doesnât even wait to process it. His hands shoot up, cupping your face, thumbs brushing under your eyes. âWhy are you crying? Did I do something? Tell me why??âÂ
You stammer something like, âI donât knowâŚâÂ
âThatâs not a good enough answer,â he says, eyes narrowing, and for a second you canât stop laughing. Because wow. Heâs genuinely offended by your tears. He leans in, forehead pressing to yours, still holding your face, and whispers, âYou canât just cry like that and not tell me why??âÂ
You hiccup a laugh, wiping at your own cheek, and he huffs, exasperated, muttering, âUnbelievable⌠unbelievable.â But then he pulls you into his chest with zero subtlety, squishing you against him. His chin rests on your head and his arms tighten instinctively. âYou better tell me why. Or else. Iâll never forgive you.âÂ
And when you laugh again, watery and helpless, he mutters under his breath, half-angry, half-relieved, âYou're a poop.â and smothers you in the hug, pressing little kisses into your hair, letting you cry against him while whispering, âI just⌠I just want to fix itâŚâÂ
CHANGBIN: The second he notices, he canât contain it. He lets out a startled âHuh?? What?? Hey! What's happening? What's wrong???â and immediately his hands are on your shoulders, tugging you closer before you can even move. Â
You blink at him, sniffing and embarrassed, and he huffs through his nose, hooting softly. âNuh-uh. No. Nada. Nope. Mm mm. No thanks. No crying. Don't cry. Please.âÂ
His hands move to your jaw, obnoxiously squishing your cheeks in that way thatâs almost aggressive but somehow tender, and heâs muttering rapid-fire, âHey hey hey, donât cry, donât cry, itâs okay, Iâm here. Iâm sorry, please don't cry.â He pauses only long enough to peek at your eyes, then lets out a small, ridiculous chuckle at how pitiful you look, but itâs soft, filled with affection. Â
âWho did this to you? Iâll fight them. Is it Seo Changbin? Oh, that bloody bastard, Iâll kill him.â He whispers sweetly in your ear, rubbing soothing circles along the curve of your back.Â
You manage a small laugh and a shake of the head, and he tightens the hug even more, ridiculous and overwhelming, nuzzling your hair. âGood. Because Iâm not going anywhere. Ever.âÂ
HYUNJIN: He notices the moment your breath catches, like someone flicked a switch inside you. His expression changes instantly to that sharp, startled look he has when heâs been spun around and asked a question he didnât expect.Â
âY/N.â His voice is softer than before, but thereâs this pressure in it â like heâs trying to hold himself together for you. His actions are slow, careful, and his eyes drop to your face, where the tears have started, small and trembling.Â
He doesnât touch you right away. He doesnât reach out like someone sure of themselves. He reaches out like someone afraid of doing it wrong, but desperate to try. One hand lifts, hovering by your cheek, then comes down to brush your hair back gently, almost reluctantly, like heâs steadying himself as much as he is you.Â
âWhyâŚâ he murmurs, eyes searching yours, voice trembling just a little, âwhatâs this about?â He pauses, and honestly, you can hear how sincere it is. Like heâs just trying to understand you with his whole heart.Â
When you shake your head, embarrassed and unable to explain, his breath catches, just slightly. His rescue instinct kicks in. He wraps both arms around you in a tight and secure hold. His chest presses to your back, and his head tilts down, close enough that you can feel his breath on your hair.Â
âItâs okay,â he whispers against your shoulder, voice twice as soft as you expected, like heâs convincing you more than comforting you. His fingers trace slow, uncertain circles on your side, careful and wide. âTalk to me⌠whatever you feel. Iâm here.âÂ
He doesnât make jokes. Not silly ones. Not forced lines. His empathy is too big for that â his concern too raw. Instead, he murmurs small, flustered reassurances, quieter than a shout, but so filled with warmth that you can feel it right behind every word.Â
âIâm right here,â he murmurs again, breath low against your neck. âYouâre not alone. Not for a second.âÂ
HAN: He sees it and freezes MID-MOAN, eyes huge. âWhat? What? Oh gosh, huh??â he gasps, hands flying up, voice cracking as he stumbles forward. âWait, waitâdid Iâdid I do something? Are you okay?!âÂ
Before you can answer, heâs right in front of you, leaning down, eyebrows high, lips parting and mumbling, muttering, swearing softly under his breath. âOh my god, oh my god, no, no, noâhey, hey, heyââ His hands reach for your shoulders, then your arms, pulling you into him so tightly you can't breathe for a moment.Â
His voice drops a little, quieter now, desperate and gentle. âTell me whatâs wrong⌠pleaseâŚÂ Iâll fix it.âÂ
You hiccup a laugh through your tears and his expression morphs once again; blinking, wide-eyed, muttering, âWaitâŚÂ youâre laughing? Are you laughing at me? Donât laugh at me!âŚÂ oh no, thatâs fine actually, good, okay. Forget what I said. Laugh at me.â He squeezes the hug tighter, presses quick kisses to your temple, hair, cheek, murmuring nonstop, âI just⌠I just need you to be okay. I canâtâdonât cry⌠please. Or I'll cry. You know I cry when you cry.âÂ
He rocks you slightly, humming under his breath, ridiculous little words of affection tumbling out, flustered and earnest. âIâm right here. Always. Iâm not going anywhere.âÂ
Even after the tears start to slow, he keeps you pressed to him, chest against yours, fingers tracing slow circles along your back. Every so often, he mutters a startled, soft, âStill okay? Are you okay?â like he needs reassurance as much as you do. In truth, he does. Or else heâll start bawling.Â
FELIX: He doesnât react right away.Â
He just looks at you.Â
His eyes move slowly over your face, taking in the shine in your eyes, the way your mouth presses together, the quiet tremble in your breathing. He doesnât rush it. He lets the moment settle so he can understand what you need.Â
Then he steps closer.Â
One hand comes up to your jaw, thumb resting just beneath your ear. He tilts your face toward him, slow and careful, giving you time to pull away if you want to. You donât.Â
He leans in and kisses you. Soft. Barely there. His lips linger, and when he pulls back, he stays close enough that his mouth brushes yours when he speaks.Â
âItâs okay,â he whispers against your lips.Â
His voice is calm, smooth, that low rasp he uses when heâs trying to ground someone â but thereâs a slight lift at the end of his words. Just enough to show heâs nervous. Just enough to show he cares.Â
He doesnât ask why. He doesnât ask what happened. He just rests his forehead against yours and lets his hand slide to the back of your neck, thumb tracing slow circles.Â
âBreathe with me,â he murmurs quietly. âSlow. In⌠and out.âÂ
He matches your breathing, steady and deliberate, brushing his nose lightly against yours when you falter. Another small kiss. This time to the corner of your mouth.Â
âIâve got you,â he says softly. âWeâll sit here until it passes. You donât have to explain anything.âÂ
His other arm wraps around your waist, pulling you flush against him. Not tight. Just secure. His chin rests gently on top of your head, and he sways slightly, subtle enough that you almost donât notice.Â
And he stays exactly like that until your breathing evens out.Â
SEUNGMIN: He notices, but he doesnât point it out immediately.Â
His eyes narrow just slightly as he watches you blink too fast, the way your mouth tightens like youâre trying to hold it together. He tilts his head.Â
âYouâre about to cry,â he says in a matter-of-fact tone. It isnât mockery, rather an observation. Â
When your eyes well up anyway, he exhales through his nose, almost like he was hoping heâd be wrong. He steps closer, hands hovering for half a second before settling carefully on your arms.Â
âHey,â he says softer. âCome here.âÂ
He slowly pulls you in against his chest, one hand sliding up to cradle the back of your head. His thumb smooths over your hair slowly, repetitive, grounding. He doesnât rush to fill the silence.Â
You sniff, embarrassed, and he gives the smallest huff of a laugh. Out of fondness.Â
âWhy are you trying to act strong right now?â He murmurs near your temple. âYou donât have to.âÂ
His grip tightens just a little. Secure. Certain.Â
He pulls back enough to look at you properly, and thereâs something almost shy in the way he studies your face. His lips curve into that soft smile he gets when he thinks youâre precious but doesnât want to say it outright.Â
âYou look cute when your all upset,â he says quietly. âBut Iâd rather you not cry about it.âÂ
He brushes his thumb under your eye, careful, then leans forward and presses a small, quick kiss to your forehead.Â
"Just breathe."
JEONGIN: You donât notice heâs watching you until he gently nudges your knee with his. Just enough to get your attention.Â
âCome here,â he says directly.Â
When you look up at him and your eyes are already glassy, something shifts in his expression. Itâs subtle. His brows pull together slightly. His lips press thin.Â
He opens his arms.Â
Heâs not usually the first one to initiate skinship, not without teasing first, but this time he doesnât hesitate. The hug is firm, immediate. One arm around your shoulders, the other around your waist, pulling you in so close your cheek presses against his chest.Â
He doesnât speak right away.Â
His hand rubs up and down your back slowly, steady pressure. Grounding. He rests his cheek against the top of your head and lets out a quiet breath.Â
âYouâre okay,â he says after a moment. Not a question. More of a statement. A reassurance.Â
When your fingers clutch at his back, he adjusts his grip, tighter now. Protective in a way that feels natural on him. His palm spreads across your back, holding you there.Â
âDonât think about anything else right now,â he soothes âJust stay.âÂ
His voice is even and calming. He doesnât talk too much either, doesnât try to overcomplicate things. He just wants you to know that heâs there for you.Â
After a while, he shifts enough to look down at you, brushing his knuckles lightly against your cheek. His mouth softens into a small smile, dimples deepening into his cheeks.Â
âIâm here,â he says quietly. âDonât worry about a thing.âÂ

Bruce has always hated mirrors.
They never quite reflected him.
Not in the poetic sense â literally. His reflection shimmered sometimes, like the glass couldnât decide if it wanted to hold his shape or let him go.
He wrote it off as stress. Alfred wrote it off as grief. The League wrote it off as trauma.
Then one night during patrol, something answered him.
Not over comms â not in his head â but in the dark glass of a broken skyscraper window.
âYouâve grown, little fragment.â
A man steps out of the reflection â pale hair, eyes glowing like ectoplasm and exhaustion.
The air tastes like ozone and winter.
âWho are you?â Bruce demands, batarang ready.
âWho I was doesnât matter,â the stranger says softly. âWho you were supposed to be⌠does.â
The Batfamily rushes to intervene, but the figure just smiles â a fatherâs smile.
He calls Bruce a name that no one else has ever used: Acheron.
And suddenly the shadows listen to Bruce when he speaks.
Alfred drops his tray.
Timâs scanner goes haywire.
And Damian, of all people, whispers, âFather⌠your pulse isnât human.â
Turns out Bruce Wayne wasnât just an orphan.
He was a weapon â a clone born from a god who wanted peace but was forced to create war.
Danny Phantom had made a son once â to save him from Vladâs reach.
He thought the boy died in the lab.
But now, standing before the man heâs become, Danny just smiles through tears.
âYou called yourself Batman,â Danny says softly. âGuess I didnât lose you after all.â

Sometimes I can still hear feedback from my teachers when I write.
Remove the fluff
Donât over explain
Trust the reader more, so donât explain something again a sentence or paragraph later.
At the time, and sometimes now, I wonder if it was a little picky. But then, I find myself trying to make sure Iâve done just that. And to be fair, maybe Iâve missed points where I do - Iâm trying to get used to drafts are drafts, they donât need to be perfect.
But when I read my writing back and I found I have solved one of these, I feel a little thrill that I caught it almost as if the teacher is nodding their approval.
And thatâs (one) of my reasons why Iâm glad I did creative writing at uni. Iâm not saying itâs for everyone, I went when I was older - still though. Iâm glad.
