Chuuya paced in front of Dazai's desk for hours now.

Where was Dazai? He couldn't have gone far right? He turned to look out the window. The sun was setting.

Whatever, he has more on his schedule than waiting impatiently for a boss that probably already went home.

So, he went to do some of his work but when he looked out the window, there Dazai was, falling down to the ground.

Running to the outside in hopes of making it in time.

In hopes to stop Dazai from hitting the ground.

God, he was supposed to hate him.

He wanted to kill him.

But why...

Why can't he let Dazai die?

This is what he wanted right?

So why... Why is the thought of Dazai dying, and seeing it happen so painful for Chuuya?

Why does Chuuya feel panic?

Chuuya got to the third floor by this point and he saw Dazai again, only this time he saw Dazai's face. He said something but Chuuya couldn't hear through the window.

What is he saying?

He started running again.

By the time he had gotten to where Dazai would've landed, Dazai had already hit the ground.

Chuuya wasn't able to catch him in time. Wasn't able to make sure that he remained unharmed.

Chuuya ran, but fell to his knees just meters away from the mess of blood.

This is what he wanted.

He wanted Dazai dead.

But why?

Why does it hurt so much?

Why does it give him so much pain to see the one person he wanted dead, well, dead?

His face falls into the ground as he sobs, they sounded broken and painful in his own ears.

Meanwhile, in another universe, Dazai was running through the streets of Yokohama in hopes of getting to Chuuya's location in time.

He knew that he wasn't going to make it in time. There was no way he would and Dazai would watch him die when he nullified Chuuya's ability and it would be his fault.

Sprinting now, Dazai made it just in time. Chuuya hasn't collapsed yet. Good.

However, there was one thing that was different when he held Chuuya's wrist this time... Chuuya was abnormally cold.

Well, Chuuya was abnormally hot as in body heat, so really he had normal temperatures for a regular human being, it's just for Chuuya, it was abnormal.

"No...wait Chuuya...are you okay...? You're cold," Dazai muttered, his voice barely louder than a whisper.

"Of...course I'm okay..you stupid mackerel," Chuuya replies, as usual he sounded tired and he coughed, which was also normal ish.

But there was something off in the way Chuuya collapsed in Dazai's arms. He was cold. He felt this feeling before.. he shook his head then shook Chuuya.

"You stupid slug," Dazai said as he shook Chuuya, a bit.

Then picked up Chuuya bridal style and walked quickly as to not jostle Chuuya around too much but faster than walking.

Immediately he took Chuuya to the agency.

Kunikida looked at Dazai and Chuuya with confusion.

"Why are you carrying Chuuya?" Kunikida questions.

Ranpo looked up from whatever he was doing with a newspaper.

"Oh, I see. Yosano is in her office as usual," Ranpo explained then went back to his task. "I told you that because I have a feeling if I told you and not yosano, you wouldn't believe me - even though I'm rarely ever wrong."

Dazai only nodded and walked into Yosano's carrying the unconscious, cold, and not breathing Chuuya with him.

When Dazai enters her office, Yosano looks at Dazai first.

"Dazai, you rarely ever show up. What -" Yosano cut herself off when she looked in his arms. "I see."

She stood and walked up to the pair and put to fingers against Chuuya's pulse point and shook her head.

"I can't Dazai," was all Yosano had to say, Dazai caught the memo.

He nodded with a frown.

"Understood," Dazai said and hugged Chuuya's small cold dead body closer.

Yosano nodded in response.

"You can stay in here if you need a minute."

"I'd like that."

Dazai found a comfortable chair to sit in and hugged Chuuya's body as he cried into Chuuya's neck. Yosano went back to her work to leave Dazai alone.

Hopefully this can hold y'all over until I find more recs or start writing other things I've never finished lmao

So I'm creating a crossover AU for bsd, mha, and my OCs. It's hybrids there's true hybrids and false hybrids.

True hybrids are natural, meaning they are born like that.

False hybrids are not natural or they just look like a hybrid, most commonly not natural. False hybrids are usually hybrids created in a lab, but can just be creatures that look like hybrids, but really aren't.

Aside from that, there are no powers or abilities in the Au due to everyone being a hybrid - false or true, doesn't matter.

However, not everyone is a hybrid but hybrids are more common due to numerous factors.

So my suggestion box is open - it's been open.

If you want a fic that you think needs to be put in the bsd fic suggestion list, give me titles and authors.

If you want to give a link make sure either

A. It's copy-able

Or

B. Send the name and author and dm me the link

“‘First rule of spy school: Don’t get distracted, because distractions get you killed’,” Dazai reads. He puts his fingers under his chin and leans in until his nose almost touches the board. “I like the hearts around ‘distractions’. And the purple blood dripping from ‘kill’— it really adds gravitas to the whole thing.”

He looks over his shoulder and grins, and Chuuya suddenly decides cute boys shouldn’t be allowed to grin like that, because a smile that pretty could be classified a lethal weapon in at least twelve countries.

Chuuya goes to spy school; Dazai is his distraction.

It's a spy au. I finished it just now.

- story -

Chuuya was doing homework thinking about how frustrating Dazai is. After even more thinking he slowly realized his feelings for Dazai and then coughed. His throat hurt afterwards, but he didn't think much of it. Thought he could take a cough drop and he'd be fine after a few days. He knew deep down Dazai would never in a million years feel the same way as him so he shoved it aside.

The next morning Chuuya was at the dinner table with Rimbaud and Verlaine eating breakfast. Rimbaud and Verlaine were basically flirting with each other in French and Chuuya was tuning them out when Chuuya coughed. They looked over at him with concerned faces.

"What?" Chuuya questioned as he popped a cough into his mouth.

"Nothing," Rimbaud said after he saw Chuuya take a cough drop. "You're taking medicine, that's all that matters."

Verlaine nodded slowly in a begrudging agreement.

Chuuya only sighed and finished his breakfast.

After a moment, Chuuya finished his breakfast and went to school. The coughing had let up for now, until he looked at Dazai. He held in his cough until he got to somewhere private like a bathroom. He coughed into a towel, he was going to shove it aside but he noticed blood he took a picture and sent it to Verlaine then took a cough drop.

Without checking his phone he went to class.

Then suddenly..

"Nakahara Chuuya, you're being called to the front office."

Chuuya stood and walked to the front office to see both Rimbaud and Verlaine.

"Don't send a paper towel with blood on it and not tell me you're okay. You gave me a panic, young man," Verlaine said sternly with his hands on his hips.

And with that, Verlaine and Rimbaud took Chuuya to the hospital to get checked out. The doctor gave him medicine for a respiratory infection and then dismissed Chuuya.

Only after a few days of taking the medicine, it didn't do much and Chuuya's coughing worsened and he coughed up a petal.

Which he threw the petal away thinking nothing of it. Until the next day and both Rimbaud and Verlaine saw the petal and took him to the hospital again, only to be called crazy because that was impossible.

"Look, your kid probably consumed a flower and threw up the petals," the doctor waved dismissively. "It happens all the time. It's not a big deal."

They went home again.

Only this time, for Chuuya's safety, they didn't allow him to leave since they weren't entirely sure of what was going on.

Dazai eventually - would not admit aloud - got concerned and went to their house to check on him. Around this time, Chuuya's coughing was less controllable and he was coughing up petals and blood more frequently, like he was throwing it up.

"Yo...you okay?" Dazai asked not realizing that he spoke aloud.

"I feel like I'm dying. What the fuck is wrong with me?" Chuuya asked.

"I can bring Mori here."

"Talk to Verlaine and Rimbaud. But that would be nice."

Dazai nodded and reluctantly left Chuuya to talk to Verlaine and Rimbaud. They agreed so Dazai went to get Mori.

After a few moments, Dazai returns with Mori and Mori does his check up on Chuuya then walks out.

"Stage 3 Hanahaki," Mori states.

"How is it cured?" Rimbaud asked.

"Who is his crush?" Mori questions.

Before anyone could answer Chuuya had walked to Dazai and held his collar.

"I fucking love you, okay?" He states

Dazai just stupidly nods then kisses Chuuya as if that answers anything, but apparently it was enough for Chuuya because he didn't pull away from Dazai.

- Story -

"Remember Dazai, you get to eat that chocolate too when you're older."

Was all Dazai heard when he was growing up. Now that he is 22, old enough to drink, smoke, buy alcohol and fireworks, he was surely old enough to eat this damn chocolate he was promised.

He was glaring at Mori who was doing paperwork.

"Yes Dazai?" Mori asked without looking up from his paperwork.

"Now?" Dazai asked.

"I'm busy, Dazai."

Dazai grumbles and kicks the floor and walks away.

Moments later, Dazai didn't know what he was doing, but he was doing something when Mori opened the door to his room.

"Dazai," Mori said calmly.

"Yea?" Dazai looks up at Mori.

"It's time -" before Mori could finish his sentence Dazai was already up and at Mori's side.

"Okay then..." Mori shook his head with a sigh.

They then walked to Mori's office together.

"Alright, listen Dazai, this chocolate you see here will turn into the favorite chocolate of your soulmate," Mori explains before handing Dazai the chocolate.

Once Dazai nodded, Mori handed him a piece of the chocolate.

Once Dazai took a bite of the chocolate was a different story.

His face scrunched up.

"Who the hell likes dark chocolate?!" Dazai whined

"Dark chocolate has many possibilities to taste good," Mori explained.

Dazai blinked for a moment then at the piece of chocolate.

"My soulmate still has bad taste," Dazai said.

Mori only shook his head in exasperation.

The next day at the college campus, Dazai was just grumbling about how his soulmate likes dark chocolate.

Oda and Ango looked at Dazai with confusion then at each other.

Dazai looks at them and groans.

"They like dark chocolate; nobody likes dark chocolate!" Dazai grumbles.

"I like dark chocolate..." Ango points at himself.

"You don't count, it's not your favorite," Dazai dismisses Ango with a wave.

Ango pointed a finger and opened his mouth to say something but then he realized that Dazai knows his favorite chocolate.

"How do you know it's not my favorite?" Ango questions.

"Oda."

Ango looks up at Oda and Oda shrugs. Ango sighs.

"Anyways, is there other ways to find my soulmate than that fuck ass chocolate?" Dazai questions with a huff.

Oda tapped his chin then snapped his finger.

"Put one finger in your nose and do the chicken dance," Oda said seriously and jabbing Ango in the side with his elbow when Ango snickers.

"Put one finger on my nose and do the chicken dance...?" Dazai narrowed his eyes.

"Yep," Oda nodded.

Dazai crossed his arms.

"Are you sure this will help me?" Dazai grumbled.

"Positive."

"Why is Ango snickering?"

"Ango doesn't know what he's doing."

Dazai sighed and rubbed his face.

"Are you sure this will help me?" Dazai asked once more.

"Would I ever let you down?" Oda asked.

Dazai raised an eyebrow.

"I'm talking about this universe, idiot," Oda shook his head.

"Not intentionally?"

"Good. Now you know."

Dazai sighed and put one finger on his nose and did the chicken dance.

Ango laughed and aside from Ango not really anyone else except...

"Oi mackerel! The fuck you doing?" A familiar voice asked, snickering.

Chuuya.

Dazai stopped immediately. He was embarrassed and glared at Oda.

"Oh I forgot, sorry man..." Oda raised his hands up in surrender.

"A dare," Dazai replied to Chuuya.

Chuuya laughs more.

"You looked stupid. It's time for class anyways."

Chuuya walked away to God knows where, probably the only class he's willing to be on time to.

Dazai looked at Oda with a look of betrayal.

"Before you hit me, besides Ango and Chuuya who all stopped to laugh at you?" Oda asked.

Dazai thought about it.

"No one else.."

"Exactly!"

Dazai sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose shaking his head.

"How is that supposed to help me?"

"You'll figure it out eventually," Oda smiles and pats the back of Dazai's shoulder.

Dazai sighs and shakes his head.

Once they were at lunch, Dazai was walking with a bento box with Oda and Ango to their lunch table. He looked up for a moment and saw Chuuya with his friends, Akutagawa, Gin, Tachihara, and Higuchi. Chuuya and the others looked like they were playing truth or dare.

Then it happened, Chuuya had to stand up and do the most ridiculous dance Dazai had ever seen. No one at Chuuya's table was laughing - not really. They all had amused expressions, Ryuunosuke looked embarrassed for Chuuya. Dazai was the only one who had burst out into laughter.

Chuuya's face went red and he sat back down.

Dazai was dragged away with Ango and Oda before he could even comment.

After a long time, because this is Dazai and Chuuya we're talking about, they realized that they were each other's soulmates and got together.

Currently, they were on a date eating a plethora of chocolate.

Chuuya grabbed a piece of dark chocolate and scooped up some peanut butter.

"So I told you when I realized I loved you, that stupid dance you did when we were at lunch that one time," Dazai started watching chuuya eating the combo. "When did you realize that you loved me?"

"Before then the same day when you did that chicken dance with a finger on your nose," Chuuya laughed.

Dazai playfully punched Chuuya in the shoulder.

"You're such an asshole," Dazai said despite not having a real problem with Chuuya's words.

"You love me," Chuuya laughs.

"That I do."

"I love you too."

"That you do."

Dude I'm 694 words in.

- Story -

Chuuya and Dazai have been dating for a few months now, but they've never shared a kiss. They've danced, Dazai pissed Chuuya off to no end, shared drinks with each other amongst other things, but never made lip to lip contact.

People thought it was weird considering the fact that they were dating, but they didn't even realize that they never kissed in any way before.

Dazai, was the first to realize it. He would spend hours plotting how to steal a kiss from Chuuya and get his guard down. However, Chuuya isn't THAT stupid. He could tell Dazai was plotting.

"What are you plotting over there?" Chuuya questions with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing. Just ways to steal your hat," Dazai says with that smug grin when Chuuya showed signs of irritation.

"Uh-huh, okay. If I find a broken object and you blame it on a cat we don't have, I'll know it was you," Chuuya turned and walked away.

Dazai only snickers to himself.

``the chibi fell for it,`` he thought to himself.

It was hours later and they were going to have a picnic and were currently walking to their favorite spot in the forest.

Chuuya was carrying the blanket while Dazai carried the basket.

"I don't know why I have to trust you to carry the basket," chuuya grumbled, shaking his head.

"I told you, you're too small and would carry it weirdly with your weak chibi arms," Dazai teased knowing damn well chuuya could snap him in half if he wanted to.

"If I'm so small, then you should carry the blanket as well," Chuuya grumbles even more.

"You're right!"

Dazai proceeded to take the blanket from Chuuya. And this is how Chuuya manipulated Dazai into carrying everything and Dazai just let him.

"I didn't mean literally," Chuuya rolled his eyes.

"Nope. You said something and now you're living with the consequences of that," Dazai said knowing he was being manipulated but he's going to make it sound like he's punishing Chuuya somehow.

Which, Chuuya just laughed. They continued walking to this spot.

When they stopped walking, they were at a tree and it had fallen in a way that looked like a bench. They always stopped there and Chuuya always sat there when they stopped walking.

After a few minute break, they started walking again. The silence surrounded them in a comfortable blanket. Only the sounds of the forest around them could be heard, other than their footsteps. It was rather peaceful.

When they got to their favorite spot, it wasn't that deep into the forest, but it was still surrounded by trees and all kinds of pretty flowers.

They set up their picnic blanket and basket. They sat next to each other on the blanket and started to eat.

Their picnic consisted of sandwiches, crab (for Dazai), cheese and crackers, and a drink for both of them.

Eventually Dazai got bored and stared at Chuuya for a moment.

"What is there something on my face?" Chuuya asked when he caught Dazai staring.

"Actually. yeah. There is."

And before Chuuya could even respond Dazai grabbed Chuuya's jaw and gave him a peck on the lips.

"My lips," Dazai said when he pulled away with a smug grin.

Chuuya blinked for a moment then playfully punched Dazai in the gut.

"Asshole. I didn't let me kiss back," Chuuya hissed.

Dazai laughed and they kissed again, this time Dazai let Chuuya kiss back before he pulled away again, though it was much shorter than the first time.

"God fucking - you know what," Chuuya hissed.

Chuuya grabbed Dazai's face and kissed him, catching Dazai off guard, and he didn't let Dazai pull away after a few seconds. However, he pulled away after 30 seconds.

"Kiss me right damn you."

"Yes, sir.."

Dazai was red in the face.
