good mourning

it’s so annoying seeing people derail legitimate advice with that garbage abt “neurotypical karen” bc it’s completely flaccid & useless in almost every context i see it used it

like ie if someone says something like “if you miss someone, call/txt them” and you reply w “i have anxiety 😾” it dznt change the fact that the only way to solve that dilemma is to reach out to the other person. having anxiety will obviously make it a more difficult to follow through on that, but that’s still the solution to that problem. is it a variable? absolutely. but it’s not some kind of end-all be-all for every possible discussion abt approaching a situation & i have no idea why people started acting as tho it is, and on such a massive scale. without exaggeration i see this stuff on here or twitter every day and it’s truly beyond me that it’s gotten so fucking out of control
