well absolutely but some teams don't, some teams prefer their star player to be captain, some prefer a calmer less known presence. there is no wrong or right way hence why you can't guarantee anything.

i think initially her priority will be her family which could keep/move her to certain places. the decision on any coach/director/management career will come later when there is more freedom with moevement.

for me as well, but lia was 26 when she was given the armband officially (though she would have it even as early as 22/23 years old). MVT/nils skipped over ana and ramona and give it straight to lia who was younger and to them more suited at that time. i don't think it really helps that the vice right now is still ana, they should be giving the likes of gery or maybe even noelle or vio chances with the armband.

definitely but in 2 years time it could be different. syd right now is still a baby in the team, in 2 years she won't be. lia was captain of potsdam at 20, kt was captain of ireland pretty young. it's ultimately a coach decision.

depends on what you're basing it on. rafael could skip a generation and give it to syd for example, sometimes that happens

i would assume they know a day or few in advanced. they're most likely embargoed until a certain date and then release publicly.

i said for years i think gery will be the next captain, i don't think she will be like lia though in the media sense.

i think it depends on what the event is etc. it's sort of shared between lia and sydney still. once lia retires i think it will be sydney however i still don't see any player that will be able to easily replace lia publicly in terms of her interviews and work for women's football overall.

they'll be pretty similar, brighton are playing barcelona for the joan gamper trophy on 21/8. arsenal will also be playing some teams in spain in august.
