So I was recently asked why, even when I post on my studies, do I belittle the posts with silliness? It’s never my intention to reduce the power of any of my own writings. I think laughter happens to be one of the strongest ways that humans form memories. Emotions, especially good ones, emphasize the event being memorized. This is why I post strange tags, weird sayings, even funny photos. I want what I say to be remembered, but remembered lightly and with joy, not as a pretentious college student. Laugh at me or with me, both are fine, because I’ll laugh with you.

Remember that even laughing at yourself means you’re smiling. Smiling, whether genuine or an act, still has the ability to make others smile as well.
