first step is get your chr or base, they gon look bald asf at first but its fine.

It’s like drawing hair strands. I usually go for a sideways V or W for the strands, tho you can make it softer or curvier depending on what chr you’re drawing. You can also go the circle spiral shape for a fluffy look.

Step 1.5, when i draw the first strand i make the next one go the opposite direction and either repeat that all the way or just follow the second strand’s direction.

Step 2, where to put the strands? You can put them anywhere but I often draw it at obv the head, but also at the shoulder, the ears, the elbows, and like maybe a lil bit at the waist if I’m tryna simplify things.

I use the cloth fold tech where I imagine they’re wearing clothes and place the strands with the folds or wrinkles would be, if it works it works yknow.

If you wanna make them look especially messy, like they dont brush their fur, you can add lines that don’t connect, it’s a line that disconnects at its bottom cuz gravity ig.
