After the events of episode 8 of TADC, Caine is transported to an alternate reality where Bubble is the ringmaster and no one knows who he is. Stripped of his admin powers, Caine is forced to pretend to be human and see life at the Circus from a human's perspective.

Hi! Part 3 is SUPER close to being done! I have almost everything finished!

Two quick questions:

How did Caine end up in this alternate universe? We know that he was deleted but how did that end with him in a new circus with bubble as the ringmaster? Will that ever get explained?

And finally, what did you think about the finale of the amazing digital circus?

i have a few questions about the au! sorry if some have been asked already, im rather forgetful lol

does your caine have claustrophobia? ive seen headcanons about him having a fear of being trapped in a box and i was wondering if it's the same in ur AU

if caine made a suggestion for the box (like in episode 5), what would he suggest? I'd guess something similar to what he'd make as ringmaster in his own universe, with high stakes and lots of drama, but maybe he'd prefer different types of adventures since he's no longer in control

how many parts will be in each episode? or will they all have different amounts depending on what happens?

will we ever get flashbacks to see abstracted members (like Queenie, scratch, kaufmo etc) i love ur style so much and I'd love to see how you draw them!!! ^^

in this universe was the red AI deleted before the blue one was made or after? does bubble know of the existence of the other AI at all or does he think he was the original (was the red AI ever deleted..? is it still in that box? 👀) im so invested in this AU help 😭

Caine does have claustrophobia, yes! He also is slightly nyctophobic too :)

It depends on a few things, but he'd most likely suggest something with drama, as you guessed!

They have different amounts. I don't have a set amount of parts for each episode yet 😅 I can say that Episode 1 is not halfway done yet, so there'll be a few more parts at the very least.

I do intend there to be some flashbacks, but there's a slight possibility that may change, since the flashbacks would be in later episodes and I haven't gotten around to scripting them yet.

Yes, he does need a cane! I explained why he needs it in this ask!

I never thought I'd be an inspiration to anyone but it's really great to hear that I helped you out during your rough time!

I won't get into spoilers since it just released on Youtube, but it was incredible. I have so many thoughts I'm struggling to put into words at the moment.

It's crazy seeing something that I've been watching since the first episode came out finally end. I've grown and changed as a person since that first episode. It feels kinda cringy to say it, but TADC really helped me during tough times in my life, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I'll miss the excitement of waiting for the next episode to come out. But it was a good place to end the story. It wrapped up beautifully and was a perfect ending in my opinion.

Gooseworks made an incredible story. There's a part of every character that I identify with, especially Caine. I guess that's why I gravitated towards him so much, and why my AU is based on him redeeming himself.

I hope you all continue to stay with me now that TADC is over. I plan to finish this AU no matter what, even if it takes years. I know I haven't posted a lot of art, but that will hopefully change as times goes on.

It would depend. Really, Bubble would do whatever would cause more drama for him to watch.

At the moment, he likes most adventures, but as the AU goes on, he will find the more chill adventures nicer.

Pomni definitely is one of the first to consider Caine a friend, along with Ragatha.

2. Without giving away spoilers of course, which of the AU versions of existing episodes (or the outlines of them, anyway) are your favorites? I assume Spudsy’s is one of them, given that you’ve made a whole doodle post with Caine at Spudsy’s, but there are so many possibilities with every episode, really. What is he going to do at Mildenhall Manor, if it happens? Will he include his own wacky ideas for adventures in the suggestion box just to see if SOMETHING comes of it so he can exercise his creativity? What will be Caine’s favorite type of gun? I guess there’s no way of knowing until you… uh, choose to show it off! Whether in comic form or in textual form, or both! 3. What is your favorite new relationship between a cast member and Caine in the AU? Alternatively, what do you think is a relationship between a cast member and Caine that you find underrated (since the fan content is usually more Pomni-centric than not; not a bad thing just an observation)? 4. How are you? Just, at this current moment? Are you doing well? You should be! This is a really interesting AU and I’m really happy to hear about your passion for it. Please always remember to take your time and to not worry about arbitrary deadlines or anything like that! It’s not a moral failure to lose motivation for it, that should be emphasized!! 5. IS THERE AN EVIL CAINE? In the softball suggestion, that is, if that still happens. If so, what is his personality be like? What’s his color scheme? Will it be mainly blues and blacks (or blues and whites?), to serve as symbolism for Caine’s “other” (aka the Blue AI if I could choose a darker shade of blue)? Or something else entirely? Or… nothing! Totally fine if you can’t/don’t want to answer any of these, for any reason! Even ones not related to the AU! 6. How many total “episode” ideas do you plan there to be? Forgive me if you already answered this last one, but are you planning to tweak the “ending” based on Episode 9, or are you simply going to stick with your guns no matter what given it IS an AU? Or, will you just make a decision after you watch it? 7. And finally… do any aspects of the digital world itself change because of Bubble being the ringmaster? Like, a blue circus tent instead of a red one, different (and/or more chaotic) layouts, a snowy landscape instead of grasslands with a swamp replacing the beach, for example? Or will it just be the same, for simplicity’s sake? Either way, I’d be interested to hear about it!

Yes, they have different tongues. I really liked the silly drawings people made of the two sharing tongues, but if they actually shared in the canon of my AU, Bubble would get suspicious of Caine very quickly. Bubble does have a tongue, I just haven't really had a chance to show it.

I have a really hard time picking favourites for literally anything XD. I'd say Episode 2 (the Mildenhall Manor episode) and Episode 3 (the Spudsy's episode) are definitely some of my favs from what I have planned, but every episode has at least one moment that makes me excited to draw it.

Again, it's hard to pick just one favourite, but I'd say Caine and Zooble or Caine and Pomni are probably my favourite dynamic from what I have planned. Although, Caine and Ragatha's relationship might be the most underrated for me. I haven't seen as much fan-content about those two interacting as much as I've seen Caine interact with anyone else.

I'm doing alright at the moment, thanks for asking! I did get a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people who are interested in this AU, but I think I've found a good balance between working on my AU and keeping my mental health stable now!

There is an Evil Caine! I haven't designed him yet since the episode he appears in is ages away, but I do have plans >:)

I have 9 episodes planned for the comic, but I may write some short fics or draw some short comics in the same universe. For the ending of the story, I have said before in an ask that I have a few different endings and will decide which ending works best after The Last Act is released on Youtube.

Most of the color scheme and layout is the same, but Bubble has added a ton of bubbles to act as his eyes around the circus. He also has created a few new things and adjusted the layout a tiny bit in the tent, but everything from the original circus is still there.

As for if I have a Tumblr account not related to TADC, I do have another account, but I haven't posted anything on there yet. It'll take me a while to build up my courage for that.

Writing a comic like this can definitely be overwhelming. It took a while for me to get into a groove I was comfortable with, and I do have to take breaks.
