I love Matilda because it's a story about a child who sees injustice around her and gets mad about it and questions why things aren't fair, and instead of the ending being that she learns how the world works and that life isn't fair, she catapults one of the adults who abused her out of a building with her mind

If this was a normal romance Daniel saying "prove it" would prompt Armand to kiss him like he means it but because this is a weird freak4freak dynamic Armand just started listing out all the different times he stalked Daniel over 52 years. And Daniel being the freak he is actually looked moved by that confession.

If all the men in this show weren't awful I would call Loustat the romcom hero couple while Devil's Minion is the evil Team Rocket-esque yaoi, but it's not black and white like that 😭
