You gotta understand that over time, what an artist (or any person for that matter) values will change.  I don’t really care about drawing a diversity of body types. I’ll draw whatever body type i’m into at the moment, being inclusive to a range of different types doesn’t matter to me, I don’t care if that means i’m not casting as wide of a net. I also put anatomy on the backburner when shape and flow is concerned. Anatomy isn’t unimportant to me, but up to a certain point the accuracy of it has diminishing returns in an illustration, whereas time spent into appealing shapes and poses that flow well pays out in spades.

I don’t know who you think I am, but please give me more credit than you do. I am an artist, I think about my work on a daily basis, and this isn’t really a critique moreso than your tastes not lining up with the way i’ve grown. I’m not going to apologize for what I value, I am not going to cater to your type of mindset, and I do not care how many others think like you. What is great about art is that i’m free to communicate what I want, how I want to.
