Hiiiiii.

This is pinkbutspiraling — aka my little glitter-dusted corner of the internet where I get to exist loudly, softly, dramatically, and unapologetically in every single shade of pink.

Sooo this blog is basically:

It’s a Rainbow High fic (yes I do indeed watch the show) and it’s basically gonna be about the characters from both Rainbow and Shadow High finding out the origins of their schools’ feud with some hidden twists and turns!

Also from any seasoned fanfic writers if you have any tips or tricks for me please share them cause while I’m super major league excited to be doing this I’m honest to goodness terrified 😅

I work at a place that sells tacos and burritos and they went all out decorating for Cinco de Mayo—like they even got tiny sombrero headbands for the managers to wear 😭

And it’s all well and good but there’s not a single Latin or Hispanic person on our staff. Not even among the higher ups (as far as I know).

Some may say it’s a problem, but I call it planning for the future 🤣🙂‍↕️

being in your 20s is such a weird spot. you're still figuring out what you want to be in life, your relationships are starting to get more and more serious, you're still figuring yourself out. and you're figuring out who is and is not your friend.

i always try and remind myself that there's no timeline for anything but when i see my old classmates or even random strangers around my age on the internet doing these amazing things, getting married, starting families, or even buying new houses and cars, i start getting a sinking feeling in my stomach. like i'm still living in my childhood bedroom with a part-time fast food job, no car, and a failing small business. i'm studying to get my real estate agent license but even after that i still feel like i'm falling behind.

and i have the nerve to say that i'm fine right where I am when i'm really not. i want to be successful. i want to find the love of my life and have the big fairytale wedding. i want the family and the big house. i want it all so seeing everyone making their way towards that when i'm feeling stuck is legit awful.

but don't get me wrong, i love seeing my old friends succeed in life and get everything they want. shoot i even love seeing it for strangers. i just want it for me too.

After searching for a while I finally found the journal with the fic and since we're all friends here, I'm gonna share it with y'all!

(PLEASE keep in mind that I was 12 writing this at a public pool and this is word for word what I wrote.)

Chloe: ADRIEN!!

Adrien: (grumbles) What Chloe?

Chloe: (sits on Adrien’s lap) 

Adrien: (stiffens up) Um…Chloe could you please get off me I’m kind of uncomfortable right now.

Chloe: Awww Adrikins don’t be like that. I know you love this. (Wraps arms around his neck)

Adrien: (stern voice) No seriously Chloe. Could you get off me.

Marinette: Chloe, Adrien said he was uncomfortable. So you need to get off him. 

(scoffs) Says who Maritrash?! My Adrikins loves this.

Marinette: Oh really? And how do you know? 

Chloe: I ca tell by his eyes. They say, “Chloe Bougois I love you.”

Adrien: Okay that’s enough! Chloe get the heck off me. When will you get it through your thick head…I don’t have a crush on you. And plus I already have a girlfriend. 

Chloe: (gets off Adrien and turns toward him) Who is this so called girlfriend that’s not me.

Adrien: (stands and walks next to Marinette and wraps an arm around her waist) This is my girlfriend who will beat you by a million and one. 

Chloe: (looks at Marinette and scowls) Marinette Dupain-Cheng. How dare you steal Adrien from me?!

Marinette: Me steal Adrien from you never in a billion years. (smirks) 

Chloe: Good. (closes her eyes and flips her ponytail)

Marinette: Because…he was never yours in the first place. So you need to get a grip and move on. 

Chloe: (growls and jumps on Marinette)

Marinette: (pushes Chloe off her and throws her to the wall)

Principal Damocles: Ladies! What is the meaning of this? (Looks at Chloe and Marinette who both have bruises and scratch marks)

Adrien: I’ll tell you what happened Principal Damocles. I don’t believe Marinette would like to speak at this moment.

Principal Damocles: (nods) Very well. Miss Bougois I ask that you go back to class, Mr. Agreste please grab Miss Dupain-Cheng and bring her to my office. (walks away)

Adrien: Yes sir. (walks over to Marinette) C’mon Mari. (grabs Marinette’s hand) 

Marinette: (falls to the floor and cries)

Adrien: (sits next to Marinette and hugs her close)

Marinette: (scoots closer to Adrien and cries in his chest)

Adrien: What’s wrong Marinette? Please tell me so I can help.

Marinette: Why? Why…why does Chloe target me? Why does she love you? Why does she even go to this school. (looks up at Adrien)

Adrien: (kisses Marinette’s head) Chloe targets you because she’s jealous. She goes here because she heard that I would transfer to this exact school. She loves me because…well I’m irresistible.

Marinette: Are you serious?

Adrien: (laughs) Why do you always think my puns and jokes are…claw-ful?

Marinette: Maybe if you don’t stop Chloe will be able to call you hers. 

Adrien: Princess! You can’t be serious. 

Marinette: (smirks) Try me Chaton. Now let’s go to Principal Damocles’ office.

Adrien: (knocks on Principal Damocles’ office door)

Principal Damocles: Come in!

Adrien: (opens door and lets Marinette in first)

Principal Damocles: I’m afraid I have some bad news. Marinette…you’re now expelled from Francoise Dupont High School.

Marinette: What?!

Principal Damocles: And that’s not all of it. Adrien. You are now said to date Chloe.

Adrien: What?! I'm suppose to date that...brat?!

Principal Damocles: Now, now. These were not my decisions. They were made by the mayor.

Marinette: (starts to cry) I can believe it. Can I at least finish the rest of today?

Principal Damocles: (nods head)

Marinette: (speaks softly) Thank you. (runs out of office)

Adrien: (runs to class to see Marinette in her seat)

Alya: Adrien, what's wrong with Marinette?

Adrien: She was expelled. Today's her last day.

Alya: What?! How come?

Chloe: (walks through door)

Alya: Speak of the devil.

Adrien: (stomps over to Chloe) I have quite a few words for you Chloe Bougois.

Chloe: (wraps her arms around Adrien's neck) And what words are those Adrikins?

Adrien: First off get off me. (takes Chloe's arms from around his neck) Second, don't call me "Adrikins". Third...what is wrong with you?

Chloe: What do you mean "what's wrong with me"?

Adrien: You know exactly what I mean. You got Marinette expelled because you're so petty. And your father's now making me date you.

Chloe: Don't get mad! I did you a favor. I finally got Marinette put the way so WE could be together.

Adrien: Just from you saying that I finally realized...there's a barrier for how petty you can get. And every day you keep breaking the barrier.

Class: (cheers for Adrien)

Chloe: How dare you say that to me? You should know who my father is Adri-.

Adrien: (groans) We already know your father is the mayor of Paris and nobody gives a flying crap.

Class: (gasps then murmurs)

Chloe: You'll be sorry you ever said that to me. (glares at Marinette) You'll be sorry you stole my Adrien from me Maritrash.

Marinette: My name is Marinette. Not Maritrash Chloe.

Sabrina: Why are you always being so mean to Chloe Marinette? She's done nothing to you.

Marinette: Oh shut up Sabrina! Stop acting like Chloe was never rude to you. When we all know that you stoop really low just to keep Chloe your so-called friend.

Sabrina: Chloe is not my "so-called friend" she is my friend. What really makes you all think she's not? (glares at Marinette) Why don't you explain it for us Maritrash. (snickers)

Marinette: Okay I will. (stands) All CHloe has ever done to you is make you do her dirty work. And during the Evillustrator you told me that you've been doing Chloe's homework since grade school. And you've been her so-called BFF ever since.

Chloe: Shut up Marinette! You're just jealous because you don't have a good friend like moi. (looks smug)

Alya: Actually she does have a good friend and a real friend at that. (glares at Chloe)

Chloe: I will have you know me and Sabrina are real friends an-

Alya: If she's really your friend, why don't you treat her like one?

Chloe: (starts arguing with Alya)

Alya: (argues back)

Marinette: (walks over to Adrien)

Adrien: (whispers to Marinette) My lady are you going to put a stop to this?

Marinette: (whispers to Adrien) Not a chance kitty.

Chloe: Get away from him Maritrash. (trys to grab Marinette but is stopped by Adrien)

Adrien: (grabs Chloe's hand) Don't ever touch her again. And if I see you do...I'll speak with the mayor of Paris myself. Got it?

Chloe: (snatches her hand back) Whatever. I found someone else anyway.

Marinette: Who could you have found in the past hour? And who in their right mind would want to go out with a brat like you?

Chloe: (looks at Kim) Remember how you wanted me to be your valentine Kim?

Kim: Yeah, so?

Chloe: (walks up to Kim) I now might just consider your offer.

Alix: Woah there brat. Kim is my boyfriend and if I ever catch you all over him again I'll rip out your hair.

Chloe: (scoffs) Just this morning you said you hated him. So when did he become your boyfriend Alix?

Alix: (looks at Chloe then at Kim and smirks) Just now. (grabs Kim's shirt and kisses him)

Chloe: (stomps out of classroom angrily) Come on Sabrina!

Sabrina: (follows CHloe)

Alix: (stops kissing Kim)

Kim: Did you do that out of a jealous rage Alix? (smirks)

Alix: Yeah so what? (blushes)

Kim: Oh nothing just thought you might want to...go out sometime.

Alix: (blushes deep crimson) Sure. (whispers to Kim) Pick me up at 6.

Soooo that's all I wrote and honestly it's not bad! It's been a decade since I've written this and man... baby Glitterella was actually a writer for real ✍🏽🤏🏽

Granted, this was written before season 2 came out—like, Miraculous was airing on Nickelodeon at the time! Definitely shows how long I've been a fan of the show 😅
