Pineapple El Loco

Ok so guys I recently just got out of a toxic relationship with a fuckboy. He would constantly spit out lies and this was the kind of relationship that wasn’t considered a real “relationship” yet. He actually took some time to tell me that he had feelings for me and would call me every night to tell me how he felt about our “relationship” and would talk to me just about everything for hours straight. We were in a play together at school and we would have to be together at rehearsals for 3 hours every day after school. One night after the play he pulled me aside and told me that he thought about his feelings about me all day and decided that he had real feelings for me and was really into me and I told him I felt the same way. At this point I was starting to fall for him hard so when he told me this I was sent into a spiral of happiness and was just relieved that this had the potential to work out in a good way. But while we were texting and talking I had been telling my close friends what was going on between us because I was excited at the thought of having a real relationship with this guy. But one night on FaceTime I asked him if he had told his best friend about this happening and he told me no. And this struck me weird because him and his best friend are really close and they tell each other everything. But I ignored this and continued to talk to him as normal. And one night when we were FaceTimeing he asked me to homecoming and I said yes then we were fine for about 12 hours before he started to get really distant then he texts me and tells me that he loves me and that he knows I really like him and he doesn’t want to ruin what we have but he has serious trust issues and isn’t ready to go into a relationship for a long ass time. So I texted him back and told him that we could take things slow and continue to talk as normal but I didn’t know if I could go back into a friendship after everything that’s happened and so we don’t talk to each other at school the next day and he was avoiding me then when I got home he texted me to let me know that he was now going to homecoming with a group of friends instead. So at this point I’m in a bad mood so I text him and ask him if he knew that he was leading me on the whole time and his exact words were “It did occur to me but I realized I only need myself to make me happy nothing personal” and we haven’t talked since then.
