The global market model bullshit in making games one fucking universal price  is terrible (blessed ‘Hi-Fi RUSH’ being 30 buckos, like back in the day when Katamari was only 30 bucks when new).  BUT....

remember when games cost MORE money back in the day?  ‘Perfect Dark’ and others were $80 (some older games coming out at an even higher price).  Even if you take into account how shit has gone up in price due to inflation, the only folks stuck at paying +100 munny for games are like, australians and shit.  Not justifying, but reminding here.

‘Breath of the Wild’ was damn near a launch title for the Switch.  It was the transition game, bridging the WiiU and Switch.  This game is like 6 or 7 years old now.  ‘Bout 3 years after the game came out, talk of a sequel was in the works, and they were like “hey we’re gonna basically use the same engine/map and shit from the first game, so we can improve the game down more and make it even better”.  And past few years they’ve pushed and pushed and pushed it, saying “fuck look we don’t wanna rush this.  We want to make sure this is GOOD.”.  It’s been a while since Nintendo had one of their one big name things get worked on and they paused giving a release date or even show off something about a game like this.  This think could have been being worked on for the past 4 years or more for all we know.

Every single time posts like this come around, there’s folks talking about the many, many white people whose names are commonly misspelled. Especially poles.

American trucks are bred for long hauls on largely straight roads. They can go for hours without a break. A European truck needs more breaks and a lighter load, and they would indeed take great internal damage if they tried to keep up with the Longsnout.

The European Shortsnout is not bred for looks, but for agility! They navigate the windy roads of Europe in a way that would be way too risky for the powerful, but more clumsy American truck. It is true that the European overheats faster at high speeds, that is the very reason that breaks every 4,5 hours are mandatory for both the truck and the handler and a day of driving can never be longer then 9 hours.

I would also like to point out that the tags have got it backwards. The wild trucks (which I’m pretty sure are extinct in the wild now) that all modern breeds stemmed from were shortnose trucks. We had known about automobiles and domesticated several species, but the truck species was not discovered until close to the start of the 1900’s, in Germany, which I BELIEVE was the first country to breed them in captivity, although England was the first country to really start using them for work. I managed to find a photo of taxidermied specimen

As you can see, it resembles both long and short nosed breeds, as well as the far more common house truck used by individuals instead of for commercial work.
