It’s been over two years since I’ve started this blog for trading, and throughout that, I’ve been through a lot, but overtime I’ve just found myself becoming more and more distant and kind of brought down by this site and what it offers to me, and I know it would be best for me to leave it all behind.

I’ve met a lot of really cool people on here. Hell, I even met some of my best friends on here throughout my trading career. But, like I ended that, I feel that my place here on Tumblr has to come to an end too, since it’s all seemed kind of directionless since then and I’ve never been able to get away from that original branding even though I’m not really well-versed in the community anymore (other than from what my trading friends tell me). Most of my followers are from that era, and I get so many asks and messages about trading stuff when that’s not what my blog is about, and I still have people following me for my old bootleg career.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to do anything bad! I just don’t feel like really being on here anymore, at least not under this current account, as it seems I can’t really get away from trading.

If you’re really interested in what I do, I am working on revamping my whole DEH AU so it’s kind of dead right now (by revamping I mean I changed a whole ass FC today after imagining it with one actor since its inception and it’s changing a lot of how I view the character and his general progression as a character), but I’ll still (eventually) bring back @arrow-in-your-heart, so you can follow me there! And I do have some fics in the works on my Ao3 Pheaca, but who knows how long those will take. You can also DM me on Pheaca#1678 if you want to be my friend! I’m always looking for people to talk to, as I’ve met some really cool people on here!

But, otherwise, I’m just getting off of here for good.

P.S. This isn’t saying I’ll never come back to Tumblr in general, but, if I do, I will be starting fresh (still under the same general name, as I don’t want to be weird and shady like that) and I probably won’t post as much, just following blogs I like and maybe doing some writing, since that’s what I enjoy the most.

Alana and Jared become friends after the fallout of the Connor Project. I had much bigger plans with this, but I got kind of sidetracked and only got one out of my five planned chapters finished. I hope this is okay! I might also add on chapters in the future, because I adore this idea of Jared and Alana being friends (plus I do have like 2k for a next chapter).

The playlist is full of songs I think the two of them would definitely listen to when they’re hanging out (aka my late 2000s/early 2010s pop nostalgia). The moodboard is light pinks and purples, colors I associate with Jared and Alana, respectively, and includes some hints to general things in their friendship that would have occurred later on.

(Bonus: A little section from chapter two wip)

Speaking of horrible sweaters, of course Alana had to drag him to the Christmas section as soon as they walked through one of the mall store entrances. He allowed himself to get pulled along despite his half-hearted attempts to get out of it, letting her skim through the racks while he played on his phone.

“Hey, this seems like your style.” He looked up to see her holding out a red, green, and white knitted sweater with a T-rex wearing a Santa hat and sunglasses plastered on the front.

“I’m Jewish.” 

“Oh, yeah,” she put the clothing back on the rack, the sound of a couple more of the hangers breezing past the metal pole. She seemed to pause for a moment, grabbing for another one and holding it out to Jared. “What about this?”

Jared almost choked when he glanced up to see the sweater Alana was offering towards him. He was half convinced she didn’t get it, with the nine candles on the menorah burning over a god-awful pattern, and the words “let’s get lit” plastered around it in large, capital letters. He bursted out laughing much harder than he should have, earning the glares of all the soccer moms around them looking for clothes for their tacky holiday photos.

“Is it too much?” Alana asked, trying to act oblivious when she clearly had some clue of what she was doing. “I thought it was a nice play on words. You know, “lit,” like when you smoke—”
