Having the Trans-Fems in my life tell me that my Jax is their favorite Jax brings me a lot of joy. The final design elements that will show up in the comics are things I’ve worked really hard to make look good and certain details are intentional for story telling and they’re also picking up on them. They’re also making suggestions that I will be implementing. Makes me happy we can bond more over this character and my interpretations, and they’re too of course.

when I talk about how Canada's racism is quieter and more insidious this is what I mean. The racism and violence are done in the shadows and with bureaucracy. It doesn't make it any less vicious.

In like 1998 my very femme lesbian friend went to Pride in London and was all excited at the “teddy bears picnic” happening in one of the city parks. The amount of people who just assume Crim has never watch Hazbin or Helluva baffles me. He has. He watched them because I like them. It’s also weird to me to assume someone just hasn’t watched something when they express they’re not a fan. I’d at least ask them if they’ve watched it. Not only that he’s stated multiple times he’s watched both. Idk. Whatever.

I also want to add I didn’t even ask him to do this he just did because he knows I like it.

I guess I also wanna add on he the kind of guy to not like something and move on from it, usually if he’s sharing his opinions on something he doesn’t like he’s been prompted by someone else to do so so you can imagine it can get kind of frustrating when people constantly demand you change you mind on an opinion you hold about a tv show because it upset the you don’t like it. When I bring up Hazbin, or Helluva or really anything else he and I have differing opinions on it’s never to try and make him like it. It’s usually because I’m talk about what I like about it and keeping thing positively lighthearted and he’s never reacted poorly to that. He doesn’t like these shows but he likes that I like it. In the black community we have a phrase “If you like it I love it,” which basically means it’s not my cup of tea but I love to see you happy and isn’t that all that should matter at the end of the day?

Maybe they're just new to the blog? Unfortunately, a looooot of people love to jump to conclusions and act like the smartest person in the room even if they're new on the block.
