I wish more fics explored the world outside of the Mojave. The fics that always stick with me are the ones that send the characters outside of the Mojave for whatever reason the plot calls for.

I love thinking about what the cities look like at present time in FNV canon. San Fran lives rent free in my head. Thinking about how the Shi could have built that up.

Or when people send them north to New Canaan, east into Legion territory and beyond into the midwest. The rare time I see a fic go down to Mexico I cheer.
