What is energy?

Energy is the medium that carries the intent for spell work. It is utilized in every spell any practitioner has ever done or will do. I postulate that “Energy” is the equivalent of the multidimensional field of virtual particles (See quantum field). This is to say that energy is the smallest permeable fabric in which the most minute manipulations can take place. However, energy, when worked with consciously and knowingly, can create waves of effects over great distance. A butterfly effect starting with the observation and projection of a singular intent. 

What is energy work?

Energy work is the manipulation of energy through use of the subtle body and the psychic mind. By “Psychic mind” I refer mostly to one’s energetic awareness: A practitioner’s ability to know where energy is in space and time, what its properties are, its trajectory & velocity, and its form. With this awareness, a practitioner can use their subtle body to manipulate energies that exist around them and within them. Energy work has significantly more to it than practices like Reiki, and other appropriative New Age practices, will lead you to think. 

Why is energy work important?

Energy work is absolutely crucial to all spell work and any sentiment against that grain will hinder your craft. Every magical action you do has an energetic interaction. Without consciously practicing energy work, the energetic process behind it will be reactive instead of proactive. This allows your subconscious to have influence over the spell, which rapidly hinders the accuracy and precision of your casting. When energy work is employed purposely the conscious mind has significantly more influence, which improves the likelihood of the success of your spell. 

I just want to share some of my tips, as someone who has been practicing witchcraft for almost 20 years, for working with fire (as it relates to safety):

🔥 Buy a cauldron : I use mine for burning herbs, incense, candles, paper, fabric etc. I have one with just salt in it that I use to burn my small tapered candles and incense. It’s one of the most useful tools in my practice.

“Can Salt Burn? No, salt does not burn. It can melt at an extremely high temperature (800°C/1472°F), but this is unlikely to happen in everyday surroundings. Salt is made up of sodium and chloride, which come together to form a highly reactive bond.”

🔥 Don’t burn candles for more than 4 hours : Even if you’re in the room the entire time, it’s recommended that you don’t burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.

“If you burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, carbon will collect on the wick, and your wick will begin to "mushroom." This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air and around your candle container.”

🔥 When burning things like paper, in your cauldron, fill the bottom with sand first : I’ve found that it helps avoid any flames from getting too high or out of control.

“Because its primary constituent is silica (SiO2), which is already oxidized, sand cannot burn. This is why it works as an effective firefighting method, which can extinguish fires by cutting off the oxygen supply and absorbing flammable liquids.”

🔥 Make sure that you triple check that nothing in the immediate area of any open flame is combustible or flammable : This means don’t burn something on a plate that’s sitting on an alter cloth lol. Or don’t spray anything into the air (like perfume or air freshener) around an open flame.

DISCLAIMER: Make sure to ALWAYS be respectful of the dead, don't take things that aren't yours, always ask before taking anything (and give something in return), leave an offering for the guardians, leave no trace/clean up after yourself, and don't disrespect the dead! Learn Cemetery etiquette before fucking around in one.

Y'all have got to stop enabling Apple's insistence on being a fashion brand rather than providing electronics that respect your autonomy and decision making powers.

This is because there is a massive variety on Android phones, as Android is open-source - yes you heard me! Open source which means you can have a lot of power if the open-source-ness of the OS was kept - and it means there can be really shitty phones out there. A lot of "cheap" Androids are bottom-of-the-barrel stuff you really should keep away from, and some are so terrible it's a scam.

A massive tip from me, is to go look up reviews from reputable phone tech Youtubers. Misterwhosetheboss, Marques Brownlee, and similar have some fantastic reviews on phones, and I recommend Misterwhosetheboss highly. Both of them are incredibly informative, and with Arun's backlog, you can find everything from a low-tier, mid-tier, high-tier, or Extra-High-tier to fit you. Find a phone you think fits you, don't just switch blindly, and don't always take the most popular Android. 'Cos I can tell you, sometimes, a mid-tier phone can really challenge Samsung and whatever bs they have going on.

Basically, this is all to supplement OP's post, and apologies OP if I'm slightly obnoxious here. This is just kind of important to me, especially as I have contemplated making the jump myself. An Android can be wonderful, but choosing which fits you is such an important step. This is something your regular Apple user never thinks about; all most of us think about is if the phone is good, and if you want a fancier one, or if you care about the cameras. spoons: the amount of energy something takes is a spoon. disabled people use more spoons each day and also have less in the first place

forks: every hurdle you face is a fork getting stuck into you. a disabled person will finish the day covered in forks, which means they take longer to recover from a day than an abled person

For the home:

• obsidian, cinnamon sticks, or rosemary placed at each threshold

• a drawing of the homes layout in a jar with black pepper, soil, salt, a plain rock, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a small mirror.

• indoor plants such as ferns, aloe, and ivy

• an iron nail driven into the earth at the four corners of the property

• a bundle of lavender and rosemary hung at the door

• painting a protective sigil with clear nail polish on the walls of the home, interior or exterior.

For the body:

• Wearing protective crystals: obsidian, red jasper, hematite, jet, black tourmaline, and malachite

• a drop of rosemary oil on the shoes

• a sachet of lavender, black pepper, and frankincense worn on the body

• writing “I am safe” on your skin

• wearing black articles of clothing

• Adding protective oils to your lotion such as: frankincense, lavender, myrhh, and sandalwood. (Make sure these oils are safe for your skin first)

I haven't posted about our crow neighbors in awhile. They have started to bring around their baby crows who are so silly and beg for snacks.
