DAMN IT TUMBLR IS FULL OF INFORMATION OMG

My company makes both, Uncle Remus and Picaniny Freeze, of the signs listed here (we just produce them as metal signs, we have nothing to do with the design processes of anything) and anytime the rare occurrence that they get unearthed literally EVERYONE cringes. They are so blatantly racist, especially the watermelon one, that no one really even wants to touch them. When the stack of the watermelon one was surfaced for a week or two a few months ago it was literally a thing to openly mock the company for still wanting them made. It’s insane that there is still demand for these signs, not even “nostalgia” is a viable reason.
