Does anybody have any hcs about Rachel they feel like sharing? I've been thinking about her recently and I hate how little we know about her as a character :/
been trying to build her as a chr recently for a NUMBER of au’s where she’s important so I too have thought of her recently
I think she was a big fan of the arts …theatre and such esp were big interests of hers and she loved sharing this with her family
I also think she had like breathing issues? Though she never let that stop her from doing a lot of things out of sheer determination. Get that woman an inhaler
Also also I feel it in my bones she’d enjoy. Turtles. 🐢 <- that. No real justification on this one I’m just vibe checking her as a turtle lady.
The enthusiasm is appreciated ☺️☺️☺️ another one for the pile: I think she had really bad postpartum depression after Theo. She could NOT connect with that baby and just felt so hollow for a bit there. She got better with time but up until her dying breath she always felt slightly horrible about it, because how could you feel like you hate your spitting image? How could you resent something that loves you so unconditionally?

love it when an extremely high-functioning and put-together character gets slammed with something that would topple any lesser person but continues to function in an alarmingly efficient manner while everyone who knows and cares about them flutters anxiously around them like "please lie down please rest please accept medical attention" while the high-functioning character just looks askance at all their concerned faces like "what are you talking about? I'm perfectly fine" as tiny cracks start appearing in their demeanor and facade

I never know quite how to explain what’s going on with her gender wise when I write her, half because it’s taken from my own very fluid experiences ?? But like. Idk. She is gentlemanly no matter what and its a core facet of her identity that she lets grow WITH her instead of stifling it and I think that is beautiful! :)
