Day 5. DEPRESSION

Today’s topic is a personal one since I myself suffer from depression from time to time and I believe it’s important to make people understand that it cannot be solved by „doing some sports, going out etc“ - because sometimes you can’t even be yourself ... it’s like you forgot how to function at all. There are different types of depression, so some ppl may be working normally but as soon as they’re home they fall apart... and others just can’t get out of bed because something’s holding them back so badly ... Pls stop giving advice to ppl who suffer from depression if you never experienced it yourself before - instead try to be understanding and supporting :-) thank you!

Mental disorders are quite common and a part of our everyday lives BUT still not talked about often enough...

It’s sad and a shame that people call others crazy because of an disorder or not taking them seriously at all - so this challenge needs you to inform yourself about certain disorders in order to participate! And since I don’t want to offend anyone I left out some disorders on purpose! Pls don’t make fun of this challenge, thanks :-) now let‘s start inking y’all!

Since I have nowhere to go atm, thanks to CORVID19, I thought I might focus on painting backgrounds/ environments and speed paintings. I really liked the thought of having a FFX3 so here’s my take on it ;-)

This time it’s a BDO fanart of a Mystic wearing her desert Rakshande dress. When I was looking for a pose and painting her I had Coen Van Ovens painting of Siesta 1932 in mind and tried to do a master study as well as a new fanart piece :)

What time is it? Art study time! 

THIS TIME it’s Yuna from Final Fantasy X! She’s my number one favorite game character of all time <3 I made this piece for a friend of mine who’s also in love with her (it’s more or less a belated Christmas gift...)
