I made sort of an avante garde depiction of the earmarked. It represents history, or more specifically the losers of history. Placed every so often along the roads of time and history, they warn people of paths best not taken. Notice the signet of pain branded of her forehead, placed there in the event she doesn't feel like speaking her warning. It's a role undesirable, but humble.
