In Okinawan dialect, the Hibiscus tiliaceus (sea hibiscus) is called Yuuna. The flower meaning is 楽しい思い出 (tanoshii omoide = happy memories). Considering her ending words in FFX, it's very apt for her and her story. The sea hibiscus grows in coast areas, just like Besaid.
