how do i stop sleeping so much
i’m on summer break right now but bruh lately and even pre-summer break i was and still am sleeping so fucking much and it’s getting annoying..
sometimes people be BUSTING into my room waking me up asking me to do stuff i can later
idk if i’m lazy or if it’s the quetiapine + hydroxyzine i’m taking simultaneously that’s causing it..
My main source of exercise was walking, but it's literally 105 f° and night walks are terrifying. I also literally have no motivation.. all I do is sleep and eat. I should just cut out the eat part 🥲. My doctor suggested I might have hypersomnia or narcolepsy. I wanna try Adderall. I would be able to stay awake and have the motivation to exercise. Adderall is also an appetite suppressant. My mom got prescribed, and I highkey wanna try it.
Our Hyersomnia is going to be the death of us. We miss so much because we are asleep, or just to tired to function normally. I wish we were normal, I wish we could sleep normally. Everyday it feels like we are running on fumes, it gets harder to stay awake. Our meds do nothing to help it either. On the highest dose of Adderall and still sleeping so much. Our hypersomnia causes our other mental disorders to become worst due to us being so tired and exhausted.
Suspected hypersomniac culture is not trusting yourself with not missing any important events in the first half of day to the point that you try not to fall asleep at all, even if those events take place in the noon and not morning

More hacks for hypersomniacs:
- add a throw blanket after making ur bed so u can keep your bed made but still ready for emergency naps
- light therapy devices work even better on the blue color setting if available
- distance walking has helped my energy levels over time but the crash is INSANE so plan accordingly
- keep ur wake up time as consistent as possible (but don’t deny urself sleep if you need it)
- supplies by ur bed in case u become immobilized (hair ties, electrolytes, basic skincare)
