🎧 Audiobook — Chapter 8: Dreamstuff

This chapter reveals the foundation of the Common Ground.

Imagination shapes reality. Every stone, every stream, every wall raised in fear. And if you stop dreaming long enough, you do not simply fade.

You change.

There is a small chance I might end up publishing my book The Common Ground after all. Maybe not. We will see.

Either way, I felt it was time for a new cover, so I started playing around with ideas. This is not the cover yet. After many prompts and a lot of Photoshop to push things exactly where I want them, this ended up as a piece of concept art.

If I knew how to draw, it would save me countless hours. Image generation is useful, but it almost never gets things quite right without a lot of manual work. Still, some elements of this might make it into the final cover. Readers will recognize why.

That is the update for now. I will keep kicking.

Tried a small creative experiment today.

I hummed a tune and asked Suno to turn it into a soundtrack-style piece. The result feels less like a song and more like a scene waiting to happen.

Chapter 14: They’re Here Still revisiting The Common Ground one picture at a time. Red stands before Tarlmere’s gate –fire, ash, and chaos behind her– as the horn from the forest sounds. Her command cuts through everything: “Evacuate the city – now.”
