#14 used it in his post so he didn’t have to write out the word (cue Shane saying “You can’t put RASHYCOCK in a coming out post”).

#27 is weird, I’m realizing the confusion is because he says one thing in his speech and another in the group chat. If I can retcon/justify/explain this a little, I’m fairly certain #27 didn’t think of the precedent (because there was barely any at this point) and thought RC could be a catchall term for all of them. Because he also won the cup that year, RASHYCOCK could have still applied to him, as a coming out cup king. Before he himself defines it in the chat, no one has said you have to come out the night of the cup to be RASHYCOCK, esp if Ilya strategically timed your coming out after you win the cup. The ball truly was in his court to make up the precedent.

(Baldwin complains about Lundin and Fredericks being included in the RASHYCOCK group chat because they didn’t win a cup; Price says he can’t use RASHYCOCK because he didn’t win a cup, so we can infer it was anything associated with the cup; but #27 DID win the cup)

So during his speech he proclaims that he’s a “lowly RC” #humblebrag #insidejoke. BUT then, because he’s a little dickling, as most of them are, he thinks it would be funny to a) complain that he’s being excluded and b) make DICK COMA a thing.

Either that or someone said something to him, that he couldn’t use RC if he didn’t come out the same night he won (seems like a Baldwin move, he was protective of that name).

OR the spicy in-universe RPF’r in me wants to say he just wanted a private chat with him and Fredericks, and there’s an affair happening there we just haven’t seen. But Fredericks is married, and Wagner is in a relationship. It would be VERY strong tea, and Ilya would be murderous if he found out that was happening and he wasn’t the one to set them up.
