me staring off into the void thinking about old rp partners i miss dearly:

“No, I’m alright, really.” Pausing for a moment, Evanthe reached for the bag slung lazily over her shoulder and withdrew a small thermos. “It’s hot chocolate –– would you like some? I never finish anyways. And –– “ she paused to take a drink, rolling her eyes. “Take my word for it, I’m awful.”

‘ okay good, because i might’ve set us both on fire by casting a heat charm. ‘ he wasn’t even joking, he once had set a mug of hot water aflame trying to heat it. ‘ yes, please. i love hot chocolate. ‘ a big smile was plastered on his face. ‘ i’ll believe it when i see it. ‘

“No, I don’t think snails have feelings,” Kazimir said with a groan, rolling his eyes. “Just freakin’ sleep.”

‘ dude, i’m sure they have. have you never looked them in their tiny lil’ eyes? they’re all full of sorrows and pain and love. ‘

‘ that’s because i was saving it for after the game. but i don’t mind sharing. ‘

molly let out a small huff and tilted her head to the side, watching aryan with narrowed eyes. “if anyone asks… it’s tea,” she countered, her words dragged out, sluggish. a gentle smile played on her lips as she listened to his voice (which she had always found strangely soothing), and she took a small step forward, handing him her cup. “slytherins know how to share too.” her voice was bitter, but amused (molly always found a way to be petty, after all). 

he gave her an assuring smile - there was no way he would rat her out anyways. ‘ if anyone asks just turn it into tea. ‘ he didn’t usually drink before games, actually aryan wasn’t the biggest drinker after all, but he found it rude to decline. taking a little sip, he handed the cup back to her. ‘ thanks, but i shouldn’t have more than that. wouldn’t be too good, if i fell from my broom. ‘ he grinned at her. 

“When’re you finally gonna cut your hair and shave?” she asked, messing up his hair on purpose. “I mean I’m not forcing you to do it, but… do it. And uh, hello? Me not wanting to see you? Never happening. Maybe I’ll track you down,” Camilla replied, nudging him.

‘ ah, would you stop complaining about my hair? it’s pretty, you’re just jealous that yours isn’t as shiny. ‘ he nudged her playfully. ‘ if that was a threat then it’s not working, because i’d want you to find me. i’d just wait for you to finally show up. ‘

“What?” Gideon ran a hand through his hair only to find that there was, in fact, blood. “No, no. You’re mistaken. This is ketchup.” With a groan, he pulled himself up on the bleacher beside his friend. “Don’t look at me like I’m ugly! It hurts, Patil!” 

‘ right, because that makes so much sense. ‘ aryan raised an eyebrow at gideon’s insistance, shaking his head slightly. ‘ but you are ugly, giddy. ‘ at least he hadn’t lost his humour. ‘ fuck, i’ll just have a look at it, okay? ‘ he reached for his wand, lighting it to get a better look.

Camilla smiled, plucking some pieces of grass out of his hair. “You’re right, I do – which is disgusting. And I’ll miss you, almost as much as I’ll miss the food. I mean, we’ve got a few more months, but who knows? We might not see each other again.” she shrugged.

aryan smiled back at her, for once ignoring that she was rumpling up his hair. ‘ you’re hurting my feelings, bellamy. ‘ he pouted. ‘ and i don’t care if you don’t want to see me, i’ll simply track you down. ‘ 

Camilla turned to look at Aryan, her eyebrows furrowed. “You’re really trying to be emo right now?” she asked, throwing grass at him. “Don’t say that. I hate you.”

her throwing grass at him startled aryan. so much that he didn’t dodge fast enough and got a good part of it in his hair. ‘ mills, but can you believe it? ‘ he shook his head to get rid of the straws. ‘ nah, you don’t. you LOVE me and we both know it. ‘

“Ah yes, I see.” Adjusting her blanket so that it was wrapped more tightly around her frame, Evanthe let her gaze wander to the sky and sighed. “I’m not playing, although it’s always been a dream of mine to be even alright at Quidditch.”

‘ you’re not still cold, are you? ‘ he watched her wrap the blanket around herself with a raised eyebrow. ‘ i bet you’re not half as bad as you let on. it’s a far bigger part practice than skill anyways. ‘

“You’re right –– it doesn’t.” Evanthe paused for a moment. “Aren’t you cold?”

‘ i won’t be after the game, so i thought i’d only bring my sweater. ‘ 

“Alright –– refrain from judgement everyone, it was the only blanket I had.”

‘ but does it really matter as long as it keeps you warm? ‘
