दिन  (“Din” = The day) is a non-profit zine all around “The Arcana: A mythical Romance”.

The Arcana is a great game, with gorgeous art and an even greater fandom, so we made this zine as affordable as possible as a thanks to you all, with the winnings going only into the process of printing.

The art pieces revolve around 4 different times of day (Dawn, Noon, Dusk and Night).

I don’t know did somebody do something like this before or not but I will. (This took a lot of time and effort so I WANT to do it).

You were expecting I’d post only memes? But I won’t. Time to speak sEriOuSLY.

I saw this and this posts about characters age and I doubted them. Why? Because of math.  And I will prove it.

Let’s figure out the true age of the Arcana characters. 

So @thearcanagame gives us an answer where we can see them in order of least old to most old:

We see that Asra is the youngest and the Nadia is the oldest characters in the game. 

So let’s start. 

Now lets remember the history of Lucio. He’s 18 when he lived with his parents and he still had his hand. Then he runs away from home and turns to mercenary work, during which he lost his left arm (it was amputated by Julian  - remember this). After that he eventually earned rulership of Vesuvia, named its latest Count. So it takes about one-two, maybe three years to become the ruler of Vesuvia, it doesn’t matter a lot. 

Now let’s remember who create a new gold arm for him? Right, it was Aisha and Salim, Asra’s parents. After that  they were imprisoned in the Arcana Realm for approximately twenty years. So we can do easy calculations and get that Lucio’s age is about 38-41 years. 

And of course we easily understand that Asra is about 26-28. 

Let’s think more. Remember I said about the amputated arm? Who did that? Right, it was Julian. According to the age line, he’s younger than Lucio. How much? Who knows… But let’s suggest that it’s about 1-3 years. So he was about 17-19 years when he amputated Lucio’s arm and apprenticed on battlefields as a combat medic (poor boy). Therefore now Julian’s 37-39. 

Well, it was an easy part. We have 3 other characters and it will be more difficult.

Let’s talk about Muriel. We know that he and Asra grew up together on the streets of Vesuvia, and they met seventeen years before the game is set. Let’s look at his and Asra’s child pics:

As we can see he looks older Asra. According previous information, Asra lost his parents when he was about 6-8 years. He met Muriel 3 years after that so he’s 9-11 years old. Muriel doesn’t looks very old so he may be 3-4 years older than Asra, and he was about 12-15 years old when they met. And now Muriel`s 32-35. 

Okay, let’s talk about Portia. We don’t know much information about her and hers childhood. Well, according to the age line she`s older than Asra and younger than Muriel. So Portia`s 29-32. 

And the last one, Nadia. In the age line she’s the oldest. We also don’t have many information about her and her childhood, we only know that she’s older than Lucio but we don’t know how much. We can suggest that Nadia’s 39-42. Maybe 43.

Let’s sum up, briefly:

Asra is 26-28

Portia is 29-32

Muriel is 32-35

Julian is 37-39

Lucio is 38-41 

Nadia is 39-43

(give or take a year because I might be probably wrong) 

(The numbers along the bar are nadia’s age at the time of each event.)

I have calculated the ages at Game start to be:

Nadia : 40

Lucio: 38

Julian: 37

Muriel: 25

Asra: 24
