some moments i’d like to highlight:

the scene where they visit the tsuki’s temple for the second time and she gains control over zaki’s body and forces him to try and attach korekishi….mogari instantly breaks through whatever power she has over him/any fear he felt in her presence to jump between them and not only save korekishi but also to save zaki from hurting his friend <3 #Moved and then him reassuring them as they both try to apologize saying its neither of their faults….the way he treats them so gently is so special to meee he cares about them so much

the way he speaks to them before and after the incident like oughhh he just shows them so much understanding and compassion

in general i think chapters 11 and 12 were very good, they show a lot of different sides to the boys and have a lot of scenes that strengthen their relationships with each other. the aforementioned scenes, korekishi saving them all from tsuki the first time, the boys meeting hikaru and learning zaki’s backstory, mogari confronting him about it telling him he can open up to him because they’re friends )-: it’s just so beautiful to see people trying to genuinely understand and support each other <3

the scene where yuri joins botan and mogari in the cave wearing korekishi’s glasses and mogari instantly snaps…..

this one Gets me… i’m such a sucker for this trope where B is harmed and A loses their fucking shit…such an important element in my yaoi ships 🙏 a boy losing it over someone else hurting His Boy will never fail to move me.

like you Know that yuri knew exactly what she was doing by not actually harming them beyond knocking them out (not even explicitly with force) but still taking his glasses to make mogari think she did….ough he gets so defensive over his friends like that’s their guard dog and He Will Bite!!

the scene where mogari is about to be consumed by the darkness but he sees a glimmer of light and he visualizes it as picturing fuku and korekishi reaching their hands out to him and they pull him back and we get this glorious panel….

no comment needed honestly…..

also not a specific scene alone but the last few chapters seeing how worried the boys are for mogari since he was forced to leave so abruptly & they’ve been completely unable to reach up for a week now made my heart hurt. watching korekishi try and stay strong, putting his unwavering faith into the belief that mogari will make it back in time for their performance at the festival….and then watching him start to crack when they are about to go on and he’s still not there OUGHHHH tamon and zaki seeing him lose his composure for the first time and it’s iver mogari…. and how you can see the relief and joy in their faces when he bursts through the door ooouhhhhhh they’re so important to me!!!! when korekishi can finally be honest now that he’s back and say that he was scared mogari wasn’t going to come back MADE ME WANNA SOBBB MY BABY!!! THATS MY BABY!! AND HE’S CRYING!!!! he’s so happy to have his best friend back oughhhhh

on a bkdk note i have enjoyed drawing the parallels between izuku losing his shit over bakugo / mogari losing his shit over korekishi and izuku / korekishi holding their hands out to bakugo / mogari and so on….bkdk lenses always on <3
