i'm trying to resist my autism urges but i feel the urge to tell you now that i have seen you answered my ask, did you know that out of 8 billion people in the world, only approximately 5.5 - 6 million people speak fluently worldwide? also, i live in an english speaking country and my english teacher was making us write cultural food reviews so i did pålægschokolade obviously and she made me pronounce it to the class 😭😭 pronouncing very danish words in front of a class of 30 students where only two others are bilingual is not for the faint of heart.

yeah I did know, and the population of Denmark is literally 6mil ofc not all of those 6mil speak Danish but still it’s kinda insane how few ppl speak it worldwide lol do u speak it fluently?

I’ve always thought if I somehow ended up moving to another country that I would for sure teach my kids too!! I love my language so much!

I generally love linguistics and languages, I guess it’s bc one of my skills is literally speaking, I’m just very good at talking hah, so bc of that I have an interest in language and ofc the Danish one too! I briefly studied linguistics at uni too

Ah pålægschokolade, genuinely the perfect pålæg even better than any type of spread I think haha, I love the crunch of it - I never had it as a kid though, unless I was at somebody else’s place, bc it’s so fucking expensive and we were like 4 kids + we were poor lol

Oh no I can’t even imagine how you’d say pålægschokolade in English lol so you’d literally have to say it in Danish haha!

It’s set in the batcave in the afternoon and dick has just gotten back from school and wants to show smth to Bruce. Meanwhile Bruce’s teammate Hal from the newly formed justice league is in Gotham with Ferris Air. Bruce asked Hal for his opinion and expertise on some alien matter so he’s invited him to the cave to go over the data. Dick hasn’t met Hal yet because the justice league is so new, and he hasn’t been part of any of the missions so far - he knows of GL and thinks he’s awesome, so he’s really shocked and excited.
