I keep seeing real people's art, even art of people I know, being flagged as AI on Pinterest. Basically every painting is slowly being flagged as AI at this point. It has become a meaningless tag

This is so so nice thank you 🥺💕 I want to make more personal art but sometimes I'm so busy or dead tired from using the tablet for work that I just can't. Messages like these help me a lot in finding the will and confidence to make more fan art, really. I hope this is helpful! TLDR honestly it sounds clichè but reference is key when you want something to look convincing. If you want to paint something and make it look like a fever-dream inbued old camera pic you need to understand what that means and what all these pics have in common first.

I watched CR2 ages ago, never came around to doing any art for it though and I didn't watch CR3, but I jumped right back the minute they announced Brennan as DM for CR4 - I just like him so much. and I'm loving this campaign so far! I hope I can do more fanart of it, this one was squeezed between various commissions so it took a bit more than I hoped. I will probably do some Wickander fanart next, cause I also like him a lot, but let's see what this new episode brings us haha. I love the raven cycle books, so I'm glad my art is making someone wanna read them - if you like the genre, I think the first 3 books are reallyyy solid with great character work and while imo the last one is a little weaker it has plenty of good moments too. It also has a sequel series but I don't wanna overwhelm you with all that haha. hope you give them another chance! <3

I've been reading trc for a long time, it's not my first time making fanarts of the series but in many ways I think I was unequipped for it and didn't manage to really capture what I felt while reading before. so I'm very happy that you feel like I nailed more than just the aesthetic. it really has such a specific vibe that's a good mix of wonder and horror that I now search for everywhere. thank you!! 🥹
