If you tell someone you haven’t read the book and you have a question about it they’re like “That’s okay! this is literally homophobia. this is literally cishets telling us that if we don’t accept cishets in our community, we’re gonna get stoned to death.

they cant even use the excuse that they said something ambiguous like “aphobes” because they explicitly say “lgbt dumbasses” so like. theyre singling out gay and trans people for their violence and thats honest to god homophobia. its nothing new to be threatened for not catering to cishets, but to threaten a community you so badly want to be a part of is despicable, especially since they have struggled for decades to make that community safe from people like you in the first place.

I feel like aces and aros should feel comfortable in the community they have an atypical sexuality/romantic preference which leads to judgement so why shouldn’t they be allowed (you can’t tell me that they have to face years of horrible discrimination to be considered members of the lgbt community because pansexuals have never expierienced that level of discrimination either and you still consider them part of the community) that being said that is no excuse for transphobia and homophobia that person has done something wrong but you shouldn’t exclude people from the community and police who should and shouldn’t be in the community because you have some weird problem with straight or cis people acting like they’re trying to fucking invade instead of just probably honestly looking for a community where they feel welcome and safe and some self understanding of why they’re different just like fucking you are

Y'all this is the stupidest shit I’ve ever read. No, it is not okay to threaten anyone like that ever but ace/aro/any other form of identity that seems a little atypical is LGBTQ+. We have that plus for a god damn reason, calling them out for being cishet doesn’t mean shit! No I am not justifying the threat they made and that it is not okay and does not belong in the community but ace/aro people are more than welcome in the LGBTQ+ community and that’s how it should be.
