All of that being said, we got enough food to make us a bit, I need help affording toilet paper and me and my roommates meds. I'll probably figure out food for the rest of the month now that some of our food crops are producing, but anything helps because we also have about $1,000 in medical costs this month.

1. $410 I owe for my hospital visit and TEE for diagnostic testing, which yielded clinicially significant (and bad) results. This amount is what I owe out of pocket after insurance.

2. This month's upcoming car insurance premium payment. This is for just one month, this is the plan renewal month. I have no idea why it's this high given that I have never gotten a ticket, been in an accident, etc etc. It is much higher than before and extremely excessive, so I'll be shopping around for quotes, but as of right now this is what I will have to pay regardless and does include discounts.

3. Monthly financing payment for the car to replace the more "affordable" one I traded in after I was quoted at $9k to replace the engine... for what would have been the fourth time in less than a year.

4. My bank accounts currently.

I'd say to hell with it and just end it atp but it looks like my illness might do that for me before the specialty oncologist gets back to me anyway, so. You know. Please help or whatever.

I appreciate everyone's kindness and support. I don't really even know how to keep going with all this right now. The care coordinator nurse through my insurance who is assigned to my case has upped the urgency of getting me to a specialty endocrinologist and oncologist since the referral process from my doctors was taking longer than we can really afford right now. Still losing significant amounts of weight, still incredibly tired and dizzy and in pain no matter how much I rest when I actually have the option to. Will update more when I know more, could use help meanwhile.

In April 2009, the Sri Lankan military had proposed safe-zones to Tamil citizens, pushing them into the Mu’l’li-vaaykkaal region of North-Eastern Sri Lanka, near the Kilinochchi district. Upon urging Tamil refugees to this very small area of land on the coast, Sri Lanka bombed the location and surrounding areas 25 times. These bombings targeted hospitals and humanitarian operations dedicated to helping Tamil civilians displaced and wounded. Sri Lanka actually admitted to bombing the proposed safe zones, after images were leaked to the UN— but claimed the raids were aimed at Tamil Tiger militants and not civilians.

The Tamil resistance group, the Tamil Tigers, were also branded as an international Terrorist organisation by the United States, UN and Britain in 2001, for resisting anti-Tamil violence by the Sri Lankan Sinhalese state.

Israel funded Sri Lanka during the course of the Sri Lankan civil war— the Tamil genocide— providing military training and armament to Sri Lanka and thus knowingly aiding the genocide of over 40,000 Tamil people.

ISRAEL are repeating the same genocidal tactics they had aided in Sri Lanka just over 20 years ago.

Why Are Indigenous Women Disappearing Across Canada?

The formation of 'residential schools' in Canada was and remains a cultural genocide. Canada -a current white settler nation -has a responsibility to take accountability for the continued disproportionate amount of violence that Indigenous women face in this country, as Indigenous women are 4 times more likely, compared to the national average in Canada, to be victims of violence.

Since 1980, thousands of Native women have gone missing and have been murdered, and their cases have been either entirely dismissed or under-investigated. I have spoken about this on my page before, and although this short piece by Vice does not delve into the history of the RCMP -there is rampant anti-Indigenous racism in their ranks.

These issues are ongoing and epidemic, and we must always keep raising awareness about and talking about MMIW. This is only one of many videos on some of these issues, but I wanted to share this today.
